It is just about experientially perceiving everyone around as a part of ourselves. Action need not be prescribed.. it would flow out naturally when the situation needs... (ABILITY TO RESPOND !)
When your left arm itches, your right hand automatically reaches to scratch and try to relieve the itch ! It does not wait to 'seek' your permission, or it does not even bother to inform you ! No religious teachings, ethics , morals, training for good behaviour etc is needed !

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY MEANS the awareness of what is happening around us, knowing what needs to be done and doing it for our sake and for the good of everyone. Social menace don't have a sense of social responsibility.

To me it means that we all have an obligation to make our society better in some way and not to igonore the problems around us. If we can contribute, even in some small way, to improving our community, then we've participated in our so-called social responsibility.
