Most of the questions can be answered on Wikipedia, the answers are mostly mis spelled and ill informed. Sometimes I despair...

Sometimes, when I write articles, I get a mixture of response. Some people are impressed whilst others use labels like 'oxymoron' 'calvinistic' or 'demented rant'.
Most of the folk who have replied have taken you seriously because your question expresses a common human trait that I find underpins much of what education has become.
Short of writing another 5000 words to elaborate on this I would say to you, take heed of your own small amount of knowledge because one day, when all is revealed, you will see how small your world really was and by how much we have all missed the point.

I know most of the answers could be found on wikpedia but i think its nice to have peoples personal views on things, however, the mis spelled, stupidity sometimes quoted is annoying.

The most annoying thing i find is that when i have several well informed answers and am unable to choose between them, if i ever put it to the vote, a really pathetic one word or nonsense answer get chosen for best answer!!

Choose your own then you know someone deserving gets the points!

Sometimes people are just plain rude and answer with ignorance. I had a guy call me an idiot because I didn't know the capitol of India. I am sure he doesn't know where the state of Maine is or what the capitol of Maine is either.

If your IQ was so high you would know that anyone can post anything they want on wikidpedia. Wikidpedia is NOT a good source to get information from as scholars do not use it.

You can RATE them, and if you give them a BAD RATING they get hidden, out of the way of those of us who prefer not to see questions or answers from four-year olds. Lovely, innit!!!

I've always thought there should be, not an IQ test, but a test regarding knowledge of our government and of current events. If you don't know the basic principles of the government and what is going on, you shouldn't be allowed to vote.

YES! They should at least give out some kind of current events and geography test before people can vote. Then again, Republicans would cry foul over "disenfranchisement".
