Last time I checked Timothy McVeigh was not a Muslim for example nor was (or is) the terrorist wing of the IRA. What all terrorist have in common is that they are cowards, bullies, dishonest, hate mongers, they try to prey on the weak links in societies. They ususally have rationalizations that some fools think our rational while the go and kill people. Something like its ok to convince a teenager to blow themselves up because you killed 12 women and children while they are buying fresh fruit in a supermarket is for the glory of the "cause."

Although I do agree that there are many Muslims who support these behavoirs they are hardly the only ones and branding one religion has terrorist is wrong. However, the Islamic world has in propaganda (not legitimate news) has had a war against western values and western institutions and these things are coming to fruition. But they are not new - Europeans have been dealing with Islamic terrorist threats on Airlines long before 911 - it has just been the United States was asleep at the switch and it was movies like "Invasion USA" with Chuck Norris that were based on how the US was asleep on this matter back in early 1980's.

McVey, the Oklahoma Federal Building bomber, was NOT a muslim. Your definition of "terrorism" is a bit flawed since the Boston Tea Party by American revolutionaries can very well have been deemed an act of terrorism... in fact, the entire Revolutionary War may be seen by some historians as an uprising and committed by Colonial Terrorists... like the Macheteros in PR, IRA in Ireland, the KKK and the "survivalists" running training camps here in the States to overthrow the Federal Government, etc. Or, for that matter, those "Pro-Life" groups that bomb abortion clinics are often called terrorists and they are not Muslims, either.

Careful, please, there are indeed some very decent, law-abiding people who are Muslims and they, too, have concerned over what those "fundamentalists" or radicals are doing... they, too, are victims of terrorist acts. It is very unfair to label any one religious or ethnic or national group as ALL being terrorist or all being saints... that's simply a wee bit on the ignorant side to say things like that. I think it's fair to say that there have been acts of terrorism on each and every continent, country (maybe with the exception of the South Pole and North Pole...?)

*The IRA were considered terrorists by the UK and they were catholic.
* The Tamil in Sri Lanka are considered terrorists and they are Hinu
* Spain considers ETA to be terrrorist and they are christians.
*Turkey who is a moslem country consdiers Kurds who are also muslims to be terrorists.

It is always easy to call the "enemy" or any one who opposes you a terrorist.

Most Americans think that Muslims "hate their freedom," that of course is Bullsh*t. American foreign policy and the invasion of Iraq are the main reason so called terrorist are after America.

No, the question itself has a pre-conceived notion that terrorists are Muslims. India has terrorists all around. To its south, it has Liberation Tigers of Tamil Elem. (LTTE), the most feared and acurate terrorist organisationof the world. (it is not a muslim organisation, but an organisation of Tamil speaking population of Southern India settled in Srilanka thousands of years back but deprived of their basic fundamental right to education, emplloyment, and decent standard of living)

To its east, India has another terrorist organisation operating by name ULFA, consisting of the people of Mangaloide origin (Ghurkas) fighting for their fundamental right to education, emplloyment, and decent standard of living. They are not Muslims.

In the State of Bihar, there is a Maoists Group again fighting for fighting for their fundamental right to education, emplloyment, and decent standard of living. They are not Muslims.

Again in Bihar, there is another upper class Terrorist organisation by name Ranvir sena just to counter the attacks they receive from the aforesaid Maoists Group. They are not Muslims.

In the Central and Southern India, Andhra Pradesh and bordering Maharashtra State, there is a Naxalite movement, mis guided left youngesters and involved in terrorism, again fighting for their fundamental right to education, emplloyment, and decent standard of living. They are not Muslims.

There is also a terrorist organisation claiming to fight for the rights of Hindus by name Bajrang Dal, fighting for the rights of Hinduism, believing that the fundamental right to religion is above the fundamental right to live and get education, emlployment and decent standard of living. They are Muslims.

Along with this there are also Terrorist Organisations for which the memebers are from Muslim Community, fighting for their fundamental right to education, emplloyment, and decent standard of living. They are Muslims.

What is Common amongst all the above organisations is the members of these organisation are deprived off the basic basic standad of living, and subsistance level of living, basic education, food, cloth and shelter, and the youths of these organisations are misguided lot. Politicians and the Businessmen, Capitalists take advantage of this situation. Hence, Few fundamental maniacs have taken Terrorism as their way of life. Amongst them People from Islam religion are also there. If you satisfy the basic needs of the people, I don't think there will be terrorism in the world.

But that's preposterous! they aren't all mus.... ok. look. do not mention this to anybody, just turn off your computer and go to bed. no one should know that you know what you do. the people in europe don't get it. the liberals in the US don't either. that is the way it's supposed to be. you see, if we all bury our heads in the sand, and never admit WHO is blowing the world up, we can sort of live in this great state of denial whereby the world looks so much better. in fact, if we could just somehow find a way to blame it on ourselves, we'd be much better off.

I believe McNicole considered himself a good Christian man at the time he blew up the building in Oklahoma City. So did the men who blew up Black churches. Then there are the Bosnian Christians who bombing and killed Muslims simply because they could.
