Which role will the U.S. play in mideast crisis?

From what Bush has stated.. the USA is at war with Islamic fascist.

There's a difference between Islam and politics. The US is a foe to terrorists and those who support them. Doesn't matter if they're Islam, Wicca, Catholic, Buddhist, Hindu, Atheist, or any other of the many religions, or non-religions, which exist. Islam is fine, same as the others I listed. The US doesn't like terrorists, period. Some people twist their beliefs into their political terrorist actions. And when the US goes after them, it's not because of their religion, it's their politics, terrorism. As far as a role, the US is against terrorists, so the other side is where it will place it's backing.

Islam does not want the US as it's friend. We are not on the whole Islamic. Therefore we are Infidels.
We can be played and used and killed as we are considered corrupt and less viable as human beings go.
Right now the US can play no credible role in the Middle East. They need to be backed by the remainder of the West, or the remainder of the West needs to pull it's own weight in the matters there for us to be effective.
The dirty little secret is that the Western world benefits from our involvement there, and does so while "booing" us from the sidelines, quietly hoping that we continue to use our lives and dollars for their security and stability.

If you want to know if USA is a friend: Go have a look in Irak, Afghanistan, and go back look in America how many hard working people are miserable, and at the end go look in the family bush's account, how many oil money is on?
