Why do polititions on both sides insist that because the Mexican government is so corrupt and incompetent America now has to take their citizens? Why does no one ever put emphysis on the responsibility of the Mexican governemt to their own people?
All thier politicians talk about how they oppose a fence, but the last time I check they don't have a say so. Infact they are hypocritssince they strictly enforce their southern border with a fence and heavy security. Why don't they put all the "america is racist" effort into reforming their own governemnt and maybe one day their citezens won't have to flee the cesspool they have created?

The ongoing controversy with regard to ID cards: Isn't true to say we already have a form of ID card . namely our national insurance numbers. which, for those who can remember! used to be their Identity card number during world war 2. Add a photo to it, plus hologram, and you have a viable ID card, More cost effective than what the goverment propose don't you think?

Yeah, dems are liberals making big government...(funny, could it get any bigger?)

Yeah, repubs are patriots saving our nation...(war SUCKS...wait, they can't read this, can they?)

Regardless of the political affiliation, doesn't the modern age of info allow us to really see what a politician is about? ARen't WE "big brother" and not the other way around?

So, will you vote purely on party lines? Why or why not?

...I think the news media should get lots of the blame. If the media reported things objectively, without bias, and told the truth about candidates, and left their personal agendas out of it, there would be no need for extravagant, overly expensive campaign blitzes.

I mean really... I hear about how they are responsible for everything horrible in the world constantly... if they were that bad... no one would vote for them and they would have disappeared in long ago...

some may be extreme, but they are on both sides and don't represent the majority...

and this goes for Republicans too... they aren't evil either... I don't agree with them on policies, but they aren't the devil

it's time some of us come back to reality a bit...

Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government.... it is their Right, it is their Duty to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security.

The Declaration of Independence

soldiers? Did you know that with Bushes new policy, no negotiating with terrorists, our soldiers are orderes to fire back? This kind of makes me sick. These are innocant babies dying!!! What if someone kidnapped your baby and held it hostage? Would it be okay with you if the police fired their guns while the kidnapper had the baby in his hands? We say we are over there to correct things in Iraq? It's not our place to correct them, and if we're correcting them, then how come more people are dying than ever before? It would have been more merciful to bomb the entire country than what it is to drag this war out and make everyone suffer continually as Bush has done!!!!!!! Agree? Let's vote democrat in November and get some people in there with some common sense!!!!! There is a lot to be said for common sense!!! And most common people have it.

Here is why... The economy is kicking butt. It is robust, vibrant, strong and growing. Unemployment is almost nil for a major economy. The Dow is hitting record highs. Wages have risen dramatically. Gas prices have plunged. Since 9/11, no terrorist attacks have occurred on U.S. soil. Productivity is surging and has grown by a strong 2.5 percent over the past four quarters. The Prescription Drug Program is working. Bush has kept his promise of naming conservative judges. The deficit has been cut in half. If the Democrats take congress there WILL be political deadlock because all the Democrats want to do is NOTHING. They have no plan or policy.. obstruct and stalmate is all we will get from the no agenda Democrats. VOTE REPUBLICAN FOR A STRONG AMARICA.

They just reported on FOX NEWS (yes, I watch Fox News to keep in tune with what the republicans are thinking) that China is working with the U.S. to build more oil fields. Halliburton is currently there rebuilding parts of Iraq and extracting its oil. And this activity will only increase over time.
Are there any uninformed people out there still believe oil has absolutely nothing to do with it? And if so, why?

like people who think all mexicans should go back to mexico, you all have anscestors who immigrated here and you wouldn't exsist if we just plain sent them back where they came from when they first got here. they are doing jobs the very vast majority of americans do not want todo. Also people who think its un-american to be a liberal, just because some one is liberal it does not mean that they hate america, liberals do not hate america, we hate the path we are heading on, which is the opposite of what this country was founded on. if anything it appears that conservatives hate america, because they certainly are ruining it.
