Leaving aside my own point of view, would it not have been beneficial for the west, and in particular Bush and Blair to have left Saddam in control of Iraq.
We now have asituation in which Iran is trying to deveop neuclear weapons: Had we not invaded I'm sure the west would have provided Iraq with the money and weapons to stop Iran's advancement in neuclear capacity.
Surely what the west needs to do is sort out the Palastinian situation

Republicans in Washington want to build a wall along the border with Mexico and deport more than 12 million hard-working immigrants. They are trying to win elections by attacking immigrant families.

We need your help to take control of Congress away from the Republicans. People from across the country are using our web site to stand up for immigrants. If everyone gives just a few dollars, together we will have millions of dollars to defeat the Republicans.

Is this a underhanded attempt to beguile immigrants into supporting and raising money for the Democratic Party by causing misinformation to be spread about Repubs?
If the money the Dems collect is from illegal immigrants, not US citizens, isn't that illegal?

The GOP often runs on the "morality" ticket, and it often works for them. But, I don't see the morality?! I see tax breaks for the rich, war, judgement (sexuality/women's rights), corporate loopholes, etc. In my opinion that is the antithesis of morality. If political parties existed in Jesus' time, which party would he align himself with? Is the GOP the modern day Pharisees and Sadducees? Remember Jesus hung around prostitutes, lepers and the poor.... not the kings, princes and self-righteous zealots. What are your thoughts?

In a democracy, people have the power. Why do people forget that and think that the president has the power? Even if the people think the president isn't all that great, they ultimately are the ones that put him/her there and they are the ones that can replace him/her. People talk about how great it will be when Bush is out of office, but that just shows how much of their own power they've given up to the presidency, no matter who fills the space.
