If guns are available for use then obviously they will be used. The reasoning so far has been that " American's have the right to protect themselves" - I think you have a responsibility to protect your children and I do not think that making weapons available for purchase at Wal-mart is helping in that regard!

With a gun prevailent society the only way to protect yourself is to shoot first.

Get rid of the guns

" We have met the enemy and he is us." Was Walt Kelly right? Are we our own worst enemy? We are spending two billion dollars a week in Iraq. Afghanistan is just small change. Perhaps enough for thousands of families whose jobs have been outsourced or Iraq veterans needing assistance. Our national debt is rising faster than global warming. We are a debtor nation. Have we met the enemy and it is us? We voted for this guy, twice. Or, are we just masochists. Please sir, may I have another?

Asking us, just a bunch of yahoos, about what to do about breast cancer seems like asking a homeless person how to fix your car engine.
