The country was at peace under President Clinton. Employment was high. Pay was rising. The environment was cleaner. More people were getting health insurance coverage. The budget was in surplus and now we owe a trillion dollars to Communist China, that is a terrible problem, we are going to have to pay it all off and that is going to be very difficult. He had an anti terrorism team that broke up 3 big terrorist plots, but unfortunately Mr. Bush dissolved that group as soon as he took office. Things were much better under President Clinton. He was competent, he worked hard, unlike Mr. Bush who has spent over 40 % of his administration on vacation, including the month right before 9-11.

I do. Though I always felt a little sorry for him. He was pounded mercilessly by Starr and Gengrich. When he made his speeches I felt reassured and inspired. Maybe allot of it was B.S. but it was reassuring and inspiring anyway. I wanted to believe him. The yahoo we have impersonating the president now can peddle only fear and hatred.

I don't think so, now that history has shown the man's folly and how much he actually did (or more appropriately, what he DIDN'T) do. I don't think history will be very kind to Bill Clinton.

I think most do.
No major issues... economy was awesome... budget was balanced... real concerted effort in going after Osama... biggest problem was that the guy got a b.j. from another consenting adult. Big deal.
