If Hillary wanted to get answers about breast cancer wouldn't it be better for her to consult with the medical community?

Asking us, just a bunch of yahoos, about what to do about breast cancer seems like asking a homeless person how to fix your car engine.

I've been a Yahoo user for years but lately they seem to have this weird socialist bent. Am I right or is Yahoo fair and I'm just looking for the bad side of this company?

Sounds logical to me. Hillary(ious) just wants to appear 'on the same level' as the rest of us peseants. 100 bucks says she probably didn't even visit the site to post her 'question'.

Well, of course. She is a politician and it is election time. Plus, she is thinking about moving back to the White House. Everything public she'll be doing has to do with votes. Why should that surprise you?
She is, however, using this forum to publicize a point in her platform, and to ask the public what they think. I doubt she'll be reading everything herself, but it's kind of a modern-day, electronic barn-storm. Whether or not you believe she is sincere in pushing that issue is up to you.
As for whether Yahoo being socialist for allowing her to do this in this way, you're way in the outfield on that one. It's very capitalist of them. It's like a T.V. show with a cameo appearance by a celebrity. It will help keep the buzz alive. As far as they're concerned, it's just a publicity stunt. They would've done it for a top Republican too.
So in a nutshell, politicians want publicity in order to get votes.
Private companies want publicity in order to get dollars.
What's so shocking about that?

I don't think she's pandering for votes (and no I'm not voting for her - I'm not American) But i do think her question is innocuous. You could apply that mindset to every condition on the go. It is unfortunately a question that can only be answered by the research think tanks . As you smartly pointed out, it is unlikely one of us is going to have the answer.

Well, it seems to me you make the assumption a homeless person wouldn't be able to fix your car.
It is her job to get opinions from constituents. Although her constituents are in New York, I see no reason she shouldn't be able to ask a broader range of people.
BTW, it may be construed as pandering, but I don't see any other politicians on here asking things, do you?

Absolutly. She has the party stance and we all know she'll never do the right thing if out of line with the Dems.

Then you must be Bush. Oh wait you spell much better than him. Maybe you are Bush with an aid next to you. Now go back to running the country!
