I mean really... I hear about how they are responsible for everything horrible in the world constantly... if they were that bad... no one would vote for them and they would have disappeared in long ago...

some may be extreme, but they are on both sides and don't represent the majority...

and this goes for Republicans too... they aren't evil either... I don't agree with them on policies, but they aren't the devil

it's time some of us come back to reality a bit...

Democrats aren't evil, just naive. Unfortunately, both conditions lead to the same results.

You make an excellent point.

Obviously, if either party were as bad as they try and make each other out, we would have to build a giant sand box so they could have a place to play.

Each persons affiliation with whichever party they choose is hell bent on hanging the other party's dirty laundry out in public - and any compromise is totally out of the question.
Look what happened to Joe Lieberman when he reported back from Iraq that there was indeed some progress being made. That'll teach him to try and tell the truth as he sees it when it's contrary to his party's agenda!
Telling the truth all the time just isn't in the "Political Hand Book for Dummies."

The reality you speak off in your question is usually found at or very near the middle of both party's' extremes - and, as per usual, if it's successful, both sides of the isle will lay claim to it - and if it isn't, well, it's always the other guy's fault.
That's just politics as usual - little or no accountability. That's why there's always committees making the decisions, and not individuals.

I couldn't have said better myself. The extremes of both parties are just as zealous about their beliefs, but they're not evil. The problem is a lack of cooperation between the two parties. Compromise is a word that apparently has no place in Washington, even though it is the one place where it is needed the most. All I know is things can't keep going the way they have been, something has got to give. I just hope when it does, the result works in the best interests of the American people.

It is no problem to buy a place in the halls of power.Politics is a dirty business, that deals with vast amounts of money.Money attracts all manner of thieves, crooks and ratbags. They infiltrate political groups and buy their way to the top.You need a good slush fund to pay for all that.
The prospect of being paid vast amounts of money and the likely opportunity of being able to collect kickbacks, bribes and all manner of lurks and perks, with the help of your own army, police and henchmen is exactly the kind of job that you would expect to find evildoers fighting for.
Fortunately,in a democratic society you do get a chance to clear out the dead wood and choose some fresh politicians now and then.Eventually new politicians all go stale and like moldy bread, you have to dump them.Never trust the person you vote for to put your interests before theirs. That's how politics works.

It's true. Democrats ARE evil. They want to implement a socialist agenda in the US, just like in Cuba, Venezuala and other retarded places. They want to make Americans as miserable as Cubans. That cannot be called anything except "evil". Democrats confiscated and stole firearms from law-abiding people in New Orleans, during their time of dire need. You can't call that anything but "evil".

It's pretty much equally divided that democrats hate republicans and vice-versa. It's time, in my opinion, that the two-party system should be totally eliminated and candidates should be chosen on merit rather than party. They should both represent all the people, not just special interest groups.

Welfare / Public assistance / Public Projects / Bureaucrats jobs...
It is this liberal democratic welfare funding in exchange for votes that has destroyed the black family & culture in this nation...
Led by the likes of the NAACP / Jesse Jackson / Al Sharpton..

As far as I'm concerned, the only evil Democrat ever was someone who never ran for office -- Justice William O. Douglas.

By opposing the Patriot Act, terrorist surveillance missile defense and even interrogating the most dangerous terrorists captured on the battlefield, Democrats are in direct opposition to the vital tools we use to fight terrorism.
