Most people think of Canadians as simple, hapless, and silly, including Canadians.

Now the flag, that's a different issue. Come on, a LEAF???? That can only lead to this killer national slogan:

"DON'T MESS WITH CANADA (we might dry up and blow away....)"

Love Jack

I'm a Canadian living in Rochester, NY. I think you are confused, these days Iranian and Amigos are not very popular and are about to be taught a lesson by the good ol' US of A. If I were you I would spend more time worrying about Iran and its crazy f**k of a president than worrying about the Canadian flag. By the way, how did you get your PC to work in Iran? They finally have electricity there? *evil grin* What I find completely astonishing from your profile is that you mention Canadian culture as part of your interests, and you "defended your dear Iran", how come you are not REALLY WORRIED about what is going on there? If I was Iranian I would be really afraid the maniac at the helm will bring disaster to the country.

I think the only time Canadians take flak home or abroad is when they are confused with Americans. Canadians are known to be non-aggressive, peace loving people. As far as the flag goes, most people from other countries would have no clue what country it was from if they were shown it and asked to identify it. You have an unusual outlook and opinion on this.

I thought Canadians were well liked abroad. I've heard numerous accounts of Americans wearing the maple leaf to avoid becoming the target of attack in potentially hostile areas overseas.
