Hello,
Yes, we are a police state. We have been since and even before 9/11.
I mean we have camera's at all intersections, grocery stores, dept stores, liquor stores, restrooms, etc.
Here, go to these websites and you can learn more.
Oh yeah, this is not a Democrat or Republican issue, this is a human issue of survival. So, I hope you are a believer in Jesus Christ and have a personal relationship with Him because He will be coming back for His church.

Hope this helps you................... :-)

I must report you now. Prepare to be Purged.
It's not a police state YET. But I watch Bush ignore or at worse demonize his critics, I hear press people saying stories have been pulled, and worse yet, I see hecklers being led out of meetings by armed men.
We're getting warmer. If you don't think so, wait till the SS turn a hairy eyeball at you instead of the middle east.

We have a president who signs bills but adds a footnote that the laws don't pertain to him. We have a government that just legalized torture, the holding of American citizens indefinitely, without ever being able to see a lawyer, civilian judge or even the evidence against them. We have just had a law passed that does away with one of the most basic of all legal rights, that of habeas corpus and you even bother to ask this question. Like the famous letter said, America has remained silent but unfortunately most of those who have don't realize that they now have come for them.

No, it is not. This country can never become a police state without the consent of the people. Our officials are elected, just like Bush was TWICE, and serve only as long as we allow them. In Bush's case, he is out in two years. For a true Police State to emerge, it needs time and consistency, two things that are probably going to change for the ruling political party in November.
