Terrorists are not concerned with economic issues.They deliberately spread fear and confusion everywhere they go.They want the whole world to obey their insane demands without question or argument.Personally I would rather be a target for terrorism than spend one second of my life doing what they want.
It is my belief that terrorists forfeit their lives for nothing.

Those doing the attacks seek to over throw there home goverments. There are movements in Saudi, Jordan, Egypt, Irag, Afghanistan, Algeria, Morrocco etc to over through the goverment. If ruining the relationship between the US and that country weakens that countries goverment it serves there goals.
They are alot smarter than they are given credit for. They want to instal islamic republics, and Iran is the perfect example to remind you that this is possible. They are not simply crazy, even if they are a bit insane, they know what they are doing. I wish I could say the same about US leadership.

The world economy and the general welfare of humanity is the least of the concerns of fanatics. They are convinced that if they get their way every thing will be better for them and their own kind in the long run. They believe that they will be in haven where they will have nothing to worry about.

I have no idea why they did this..
My best guess is that the Muslim Governments must
have a scapegoat to explain why there is all the poverty
and corruption in the oil rich Mid East ...
And they blame the west / USA...
Their schools have been teaching this for decades so now
the ignorant street muslims believe these lies...
