Why do polititions on both sides insist that because the Mexican government is so corrupt and incompetent America now has to take their citizens? Why does no one ever put emphysis on the responsibility of the Mexican governemt to their own people?
All thier politicians talk about how they oppose a fence, but the last time I check they don't have a say so. Infact they are hypocritssince they strictly enforce their southern border with a fence and heavy security. Why don't they put all the "america is racist" effort into reforming their own governemnt and maybe one day their citezens won't have to flee the cesspool they have created?

I agree with you 100% and this situation leaves me scratching my head. It's even worse when you realize that Mexico is actually amongst the richest countries of the world! There is no excuse for Mexico having such a huge number of extremely poor people racing to the USA for jobs and for the social benefits they can access there. Mexico claims to be such a "good" friend of the USA. However, I think they would be a better friend if they simply looked after their own people instead of expecting their "good" friend, USA to look after them!

your question ought to be asked of, and an answer demanded from every Congressperson and every U.S. Senator.
Mexico goes before the U.N. to complain of America's plan to build a border fence. Why?? the answer is Mexico's inherent governmental corruption, and the overall weakness of every Mexican to root out, to expel corrupt politicians, as well as the heavy weight drug families, which dominate Mexican politics with money and threats.
Mexicans are inherently weak minded, and therefore adore anyone who can dominate a government, like the drug lords around Northern Mexico.
I suggest a Neutron bomb, or six of them, landing in la square de Cuidad de Mexico, y Juarez.

Citizens of Mexico became the responsibility of American taxpayers when corrupt american politicians started hiring them in order not to have to pay withholding and FICA taxes. You might also want to add a certain number of CEO's and some (not all) farmers to that list.

When half their country moved in with us and took over our politicians. It's funny how people who don't have to live in their neighborhoods can vote for them to stay while the rest of us have to suck it up and deal with a world that can't even figure out what you mean when you ask at McDonald's what kind of sauce they have for the chicken strips.

Yes, Mexico needs to do 3 things yesterday: eliminate the corruption in all levels of government and law enforcemet, prosecute the drug cartels, and (i am sorry here) stop having so many babies!
