Ive been curious about SAMs. After watching Behind Enemy Lines i wanted to know more about the missiles, radar, etc. How does a missile detonate when near an aircraft? in the movie when the missile gets near the f-18 it ejects something and shoots a billion bullets at the wings and then explodes. Does anyone out there know some stuff about these stuff? How do the radars track on? how does the missile lock on? if anyone knows some stuff could you tell me? that would be cool thanks

NUTS!!!!!!!!!!...but isnt that what you do in the military..kill the enemy or train to kill your enemy...then why not use people who want to kill in the first place..this makes no sense to me. ..since a killer will not have any emotional problems to killing the enemy...unlike the other fools who cry about the killing they have done...what gives...

The doctor at MEPS wanted to insert something into my butt hole. What was he looking for? I left then and there. I love the armed forces and America especially, but I'm not gay.

Im 16 years old, im about 5'7 140 lbs, I lift weights, I do push ups, I do sit ups, I shadow box, and I do cardio pretty much 6 days a week. Is there anything I can do NOW to improve my self in the future when I become a marine?Im planning on taking my GED will that lower my chances in anyway? I just really feel my school is holding me back because its a really bad school known for gang violence. Any ideas what I should do and learn now while I still have the time? any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

walking or driving under or near them. If I wait for them to come back on and go under or by them it happens again. Usually if I go back to the same light the next night it won't happen again, only the lights that are affected on that particular night. I met five other guys at the proving grounds that could do it to.

Did the Army inject or plant a radioactive isotope in me and the other's so we could be tracked from sattelites???? I wore an Africa Corp Nazi Field Cap to the MEPPS station on the day I was sworn in and they were really pissd off. The other guys were really high IQ rebels too. Once again does anybody have any info on a program to track folks in the military this way????

Ok, i'm almost 17, and I want to join the marines. I had a problem w/childhood asthma and can get a waiver for that, but i found out that I will have to get off my allergy shots for a year. But I cannot live at my grandma's house w/out the shots because of her cats, which are the only thing I am allergic to. The marines or the military are the only chance I will have to do something with my life, because I am not very fond of school. What do you think I should do, and do you think I wil be able to join?

I've asked before wether veterans regreted serving in war. I am proud to say, that not one soldier regreted serving his country (at least the ones who wrote). Now I ask why was this experience so gratifying and would you do it again? Please share your history, our history.

ok. My husband has a sister who is 12. She lives in michigan with her mom who is not a very good mother. she keeps telling her that she hates her and how much she cant stand her and wants to send her away to her dad (ill get to that) and that she wants to put her up for foster care. Her dad also lives in michigan, a few hours from her moms house, and he cannot provide adequate care either. He doesn't have a job and lives with his girlfriend who is living off of unemployment. she has 2 kids and his sister has 2 sisters living with the dad and his girlfriend also. one of the sisters has a boyfriend and child--ALSO living with them in this 3 bedroom house.

I told his sister that i would fight for custody of her before i ever let her go live with her dad. Is there any way that my husband and i could get custody of her? Does it make a difference that he is in the military? Thank you for any help you can get..i really would like to get her in a better environment.
