I know that once you get to BMT, you get to make a dream list of bases you would like to be assigned to. How do I tell my mom that I do not want to live close to home? One of the factors in helping my decide to join the airforce was the fact that you can live somewhere other than your hometown.. now, How do i tell mom that I don't want to even live in this state?

Listening to a conservative radio talk host who seems conservative on many issues-spending-gay right etc...he feels there were many EVIL abusive dictators around the -this particular one was sitting on oil...he seems to be calling it the way it is.... North Korea flaunting nuclear capability....(By the way he said Iran was encouraging us to go into Iraq-Chalbi-to take care of their dirty work)

Does it matter what your degree is in?

What qualifications must the college meet in order for your degree to be accepted?

Any advice is welcome. Thank you in advance.

In a long range (special operation) demolition mission, To destroy a cache of rebel weapons, collect documents and if possible capture a hostage. What would you send for an E-Vac?

2 Black Hawks?
2-3 Hummers?
1 Pavelow?

Just my own curiosity.

since it was in this same war back in 1999 ,when the Russian forces went into prestina, the american general Wesley clark asked the british and french to go and attack the russian,in which the british commander replied,we are not going to start a world war 3 just for you, wise decsion. why couldn't america do it them selves if they are supposed to be a super power, and if war does break out even if america hides behind europe it will not save them.BRING IT ON!

I am in the USAF Reserve right now, but I am unsure of whether or not I want to retire from it. If I leave after my first enlistment, will I still have on-base priviliges (ex. BX, Commisary, Rec center, etc..) Or do I need to be an official retiree to get these priviliges?

My husband and our son are deploying to Iraq soon. Our daughter is expecting her first baby and I'd like to make a maternity T Shirt for her to wear to the send off ceremony. I need a cute saying to put on the shirt which says something to the effect of "I won't get to meet my Grandpa and Uncle when I'm born, I'll have to wait a while". Now, I know THAT isn't cute...help me out please? Thanks to all who help.

I also posted this question in the "Fashion" category, but I would love to hear from "Military" answerers, too.

Were splitting up.
I told her I didnt want to live with her anymore and she left.
Little did I know she left to the bank.

Can I do anything about this, or because it was a joint account, she can take the money and run?

Am I SOOL?

Ok...I recentely got out of the Navy in 05 due to fact that I didn't like it. I went to a psychologist and basically lied my butt off to get out. I couldn't bare to stand those crummy watches in "a" school, and plus I ended up failing my school which probably meant I was going to be undesignated. That's not what I wanted. So after waiting months to class up I end up failing my school. Now I got out, and I want to get back in, because basically i'm not doing anything with my life. I have my records and everything, but will I a be accepted back in? Is there something that I should look for in my records that says I can't. Where can I find it? What are my chances of getting back in?

I'm 24 and joining the Navy and my friends were telling me to make sure I write whatever I want in papers before signing any documents (swear-in).

If you were to to join the service again, what would you want the military give you in exchange for your soul?

Some of my friends suggested for me to tell my recruiter that after I get out of bootcamp that I get stationed in my hometown (San Diego, CA)... is there anything else you guys would suggest? Signing bonus etc

I was wondering if I'm too old for this. I was in JROTC in Highschool (2 years), and in the Naval Reserve ( less than a year).

And what are the cons of going active duty with a GED? I scored 72 on ASVAB, and my recruiter told me that I'm somewhat smarter that people that graduated high school.

note: I dropped out of high school due to family issues.

I'm watching 'Dogfights' on the History Channel, and one of the Tuskegee Airmen goes after a P-51 that has German Air Force markings on it. The History Channel goes on to say that the Germans stole some P-51's so that they could infiltrate the Allied Air Force, but don't say how that was done.

Anyone know?
