I understand what you are going through! Since my husband has been on deployment, I normally hear from him via email or phone every day. One week I didn't hear from him for 5 days, he was ok just didn't have the time or resources to email or phone. I am sure your man is doing great, and that it is the same case. If something had happened, you should have known by now. I am sure he will call you soon, and your heart will go back to normal!! Best wishes, and just try to keep yourself busy so you aren't sitting there thinking about it, counting the hours. That makes it worse!!!

I know you are worried but basically I'm just going to say what everyone else has. 2 days is fine.
I am military and while I was overseas sometimes we had a lot of time where we would call and write and other times we were really busy.
Also, the communcation systems SUCK over there. You have probably noticed the echo and the delay when you are talking. There might just be a problem with the LAN which knocks out both computers and phones. When I was gone they were digging a trench and cut a LAN cable so there was no internet for a couple days while they were trying to fix it.

By all means calm down, and then tell us where he is, maybe the Unit, something to go off of.
If he is deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan he is still probably OK. But things can get rather hectic in the military. There are times when you don't have time for anything but your mission, and can last several days easily.
And yes we will gladly add an extra line in our prayers.

Hun. take a breath.
They actually do things over there other than call you and get online. I haven't talked to my husband in a few days either. They are doing things over there that they usually cant tell us about. Which means they could go out on missions and not be able to tell us before hand.
Remember this and say it to yourself often--its what keeps me going..
no news is good news. ALWAYS. If something were to happen..you would know. If he is your husband then...you will be the first one to know within hours of him being injured. SO relax and just wait for his call. if you dont hear from him...or someone else..BE HAPPY! It means hes ok.

Honey, I do know how frightening not hearing from him can be. My son is in Iraq and I get scared too when I don't hear from him regularly.
Sometimes they have lots of free time. And then, they can suddenly have a heavy work load and just cannot communicate as much. My son has cautioned me about this time and again.
I have talked to God about your Honey, and feel the young man is safe.
Hang in there. Keep on loving him, and keep letting him know you love him. You mean the world to him I am sure.

No news is good news. As you'd know the Military os not a 9-5 job.
When able to, he will call/type.
Sit down, have a glass of wine & relax.
As for the prayer.......done!

2 days is NOTHING. They have work to do over there that does not always mean getting back to where phones are everyday.

First, calm down. They probably don't have access right now. That's all. Two days isn't anything. We will keep him in our prayers

Well, where is he? Is he deployed? Or is he at home?
Just calm down, and remember that he will contact you as soon as he is able to!

Don't worry, I'm sure he is okay. He probably is just not around phones or computers. I'm sure you will here from him soon. Stop dwelling on it and put your mind on other things.
Good luck!
