Many Americans criticize how children in the Middle East are taught from the time they are little to hate Americans, but aren't Americans doing the same? Most Americans don't know anything about countries such as Iran or Iraq. It is because of that the Iraq war happened, because a president said a certain country had weapons of mass destruction, and because Americans are SO unaware of anything outside the USA, the American people went into war without stopping to think if that fact was true or not. Kids need to be more educated about life in other countries. Most girls love Princess Jasmine from the princess collection, they have a lot of that merchandise. What if Disney made a show in which Princess Jasmine showed kids how's life in Middle Eastern countires, and teach them about their beliefs, people, and life. It would be great if American kids grew up knowing more about the world than this generation.

i personally think that Women should not be in the front lines of battlefields.

i think women are capable of doing a great job and probly no worse than the male soldiers and there is a place for women in the military but just not on the front line.

But being realisitc the front is no place for awomen.
the armed forces are made up of mainly males, men act differentely whilst around women and whilst in there company.
and in a combat situation you would want everyone feeling comfortable with everyone.
its just how it is.

i wanna hear everyone elses views

A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan .One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist and a member of the ACLU.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, "God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 minutes."

The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am God. I'm still waiting."

It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-****** him knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold.
The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently.

The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to,noticeably shaken, looked at
the Marine and asked, .............

Outside US, people believe that Americans don’t care about the genocide in Japan, and that they are always justifying it ‘rationally”. How do Americans see it? Would they do it in the middle east?

with this shooting at the college this morning do you not think that the US gun laws should be changed.
from what I have heard on the news that 30 people have been killed. Speaking as a non American I can't understand why you would want to have weapons in your homes. Don't get me wrong I am not saying that the constitution should be changed but I think you should be responsible for your weapons.
Why would you want to keep semi automatic gun in your home man some people have machine guns of all things in their homes. I really think the laws should be changed if you want to keep guns then why keep a hand gun and store it in a safe secure place. I know that this is a political hot potato and the NRA are very powerful but there have been far too many school shootings recently collumbine then another one I can't remember the name of and then a couple of months ago the Amish school shooting really something has to change and think I the change should happen now because more are killed

Both wars are iewed by the majority of Americans as major mistakes.

Many brave and decent American men and women died in these wars.

Far more U.S. servicemen died in Vietnam (at least that is true at this moment), but that is not the only measure by which to judge the level of error in these two wars.

Which one was the worse mistake for the United States?

If so you might wish to answer a current question pertaining
to the Pledge of Allegiance. My views have been getting
hammered. I could use your thumbs up vote.

Look for: should we not remove under god from the pledge
of allegiance ? Just the fact that person did not use any caps
is bothersome.

While I myself support my husband more than anybody, I wanted to know why there are people out there that don't think we are just as important as the man by us that wears the uniform. I still make GREAT sacrifices for our country. I am a mother of three that becomes mommy and daddy while he's deploys. Last time was Iraq. There is way more than meets the eye when it comes to a military wife. While not thanked enough I take GREAT pride in the job I do for the military and my country.
