Thank you for your honest question. I'm also a conservative and I do still support the war. if we can establish a democracy in that region that is friendly to us it could change the whole world. I supported the war on its face but haven't liked the way it's been fought. I feel it's been done in a politically correct fashion. Policies such as the soldiers are only allowed to shoot in response to being shot at is ridiculous. As far as your point about propping up people who are now our enemies, well...the world is a difficult place. You go with who you have to at the time and if they turn on you you deal with that then. I highly doubt 81% of Iraqis want us out. That seems like some skewed poll to me. But hey, who knows. But I appreciate the way you worded your question.

It's completely different: there are massacres like this in Baghdad every other day. There won't be another mass shooting at a US educational institution for, oh, maybe 18 months.
I must say I just LOVED 'What Do I Know's take on what divides conservatives from liberals- quite amusing. I was looking forward to him putting forward the standard far-right 'solution' to these massacres: force everyone to carry a gun so the guy carrying out the massacre will be shot. becasue ALL freedom lovin' folks like carrying guns and shooting miscreants. It must annoy him that these rampages simply don't occur in countries where bedwetting liberalism holds sway.
The 'ha-ha, you got the wrong town' crew were quite funny, too.
And having said all that- pretty sick question.

As hard as it may be for your non-functional reasoning brain to comprehend the two have NOTHING in COMMON.
It is kind of like associating a horrible car accident with the War or a train wreck with many innocent lives lost.
It is questions such as yours that give you ZERO credibility as a person. It is like comparing your "F" in Logic 101 to the War.
I can only assume that you are looking for attention that you can ONLY get here by asking your question.

Really?
When did this happen? The 33 in Blacksburg is probably obscuring it on the news.

Your facts are wrong on the location of Virginia Tech. That makes your statement about Iraq an ignorant one.

Sure does! only difference.. the president came on the news and expressed his deep shock and sorrow.. too bad he doesn't do that every time an American soldier is killed.
I am so sad for the families of these young people.. and I will put them in my prayers.. just as I remem ber all our very brave young men and women who are fighting to protect us.

Lets see. Conservatives support the protection of our country. Liberals do not believe terrorism is a threat to this country. Conservatives support the death penalty of people who commit murder. Liberals do not. Conservatives support morality. Liberals support do what you want when you want. Many Conservatives will be saying prayers for the families of the victims and the ones in the hospital tonight. What will the Liberals who want religion out of America be doing tonight? Posting questions like this one?
