Many Americans criticize how children in the Middle East are taught from the time they are little to hate Americans, but aren't Americans doing the same? Most Americans don't know anything about countries such as Iran or Iraq. It is because of that the Iraq war happened, because a president said a certain country had weapons of mass destruction, and because Americans are SO unaware of anything outside the USA, the American people went into war without stopping to think if that fact was true or not. Kids need to be more educated about life in other countries. Most girls love Princess Jasmine from the princess collection, they have a lot of that merchandise. What if Disney made a show in which Princess Jasmine showed kids how's life in Middle Eastern countires, and teach them about their beliefs, people, and life. It would be great if American kids grew up knowing more about the world than this generation.

You make good point. Americans should teach their kids that the whole Iraq war was based on false information that killed hundred thousand plus people and that gives a reason for Iraqis to hate Americans.

We could all use a valuable lesson from the war in Iraq. Apparently we didn't learn a thing from Vietnam. Maybe the second time around the facts will finally sink in.

However, going on to other points you make in your statement, the Islamics have always hated the west. It has been that way for hundreds of years and there isn't anything we are going to do to change that line of thinking. Hatred in Islam runs deep and factions within this belief system regularly try to exterminate one another.

It would be nice if people could be educated to get along, but it just doesn't work that way in the world as we know it. The mid-east countries have been at each others throats for thousands of years. And, nothing short of wiping those countries off the face of the earth is going to stop it. They hate each other, they hate the Jews, they hate the west, and the hate Christians. They just don't like anyone; not even themselves. Read the history books yourself to verify.

You want the next generation to worship terrorist and be traitors to their country. Better also tell them that little princess in prison in Iran or Iraq and any terrorist country can get their little princess heads cut off by terrorist on nation TV also. We Americans are very aware of everything outside the USA, is why we are able, ready and willing to do what is necessary to keep our little princess from being killed by murdering terrorist.

I still think Obama is a Muslim. Look how he is backing away from National Prayer Day. I think he is planning more than muslim history Day, I think he part of a take over of the USA by the muslims. People need to wake up and see how much destruction he is bringing upon this country. First us, then the world. This dangerous man wants the whole world under his islamic control.

You kidding? You need more shows? We have been sold the greatest show on earth ! do not you know that we "liberated Iraq" and "brought Democracy to the middle east".

Never mind that forceful liberation is against international law and WMD played a" small " part in reasons for this war. Oh, and always wondered how come we did not bring democracy to Kuwait? Did not we liberate it back in 90's?

I am sure we will hear a similar play on Iran by the same play writers !

Facts are readily available - people choose to ignore them.

Since we are skirting the issue of education, IRAQ HAD WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, the Kurds didnt die of malnutrition, and again, the idiotic little willie cartoon said there were wmds there also. SO BUSH DIDNT LIE. Now as far as liking other countries, are you suggesting the little darlings be taught, (as stupid little libtards are being taught now), to hate their own country and love a murderous foreign country? Lets teach them instead, if they hate this country, it is better they move to another one that meets their criteria, and quit badmouthing the one theyre in.

your question answers itself...it is necessary for American children to be educated. Fairy tales can instruct, so can schools when they are not so busy politicizing every class.
