When will the uneducaed and under informed Yahoo users figure out that the U.S. Military carries out the orders of the President? When will they learn that the military didn't decide to invade Iraq and Afghanistan? When will they learn that the military has no political agenda and is not elected?

Please only respond if your family of a member or are currently in the military. I hear lots of different stories, seems to be dependent on where you are stationed as to what kind of care you receive.

Thousands protest as war enters 5th year By LARRY MARGASAK and MATTHEW BARAKAT, Associated Press Writers

WASHINGTON - Denouncing a conflict entering its fifth year, protesters across the country raised their voices Saturday against U.S. policy in Iraq and marched by the thousands to the Pentagon in the footsteps of an epic demonstration four decades ago against another divisive war.

A counterprotest was staged, too, on a day of dueling signs and sentiments such as "Illegal Combat" and "Peace Through Strength," and songs like "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "War (What's It Good For?)."

Thousands crossed the Potomac River from the Lincoln Memorial to rally loudly but peacefully near the Pentagon. "We're here in the shadow of the war machine," said anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan. "It's like being in the shadow of the death star. They take their death and destruction and they export it around the world. We need to shut it down."

Smaller protests were held in other U.S. cities, stretching to Tuesday's four-year anniversary of the Iraq invasion. In Los Angeles, Vietnam veteran Ed Ellis, 59, hoped the demonstrations would be the "tipping point" against a war that has killed more than 3,200 U.S. troops and engulfed Iraq in a deadly cycle of violence.

"It's all moving in our direction, it's happening," he predicted at the Hollywood rally. "The administration, their get-out-of-jail-free card, they don't get one anymore."

Overseas, tens of thousands marched in Madrid as Spaniards called not only for the U.S. to get out of Iraq but to close the prison for terrorist suspects at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. Smaller protests were staged in Greece and Turkey.

Make them join the military so that they can live in America. Offer a deal and say: you cannot live in America untill you have joined the American military for four years. Would that be a good idea, i dont neccesarly think it would be a good idea but i want to see what you think.

Im so tired of hearing I support the troops and not the war. So tell me what are you doing, to support them. Or are you just saying a catch phrase to make yourself feel good.

And thank you for the small group of people who send money to the USO, make care packages, and give money to help the familes of wonded and fallen soliders......

I know that accurate time keeping was a vital part of early navigation and still is where dead reckoning is concerned.

What I am looking for is, how did the system for announcing the time come about, as in "eight bells" or "six bells", etc.

How does the system work?

It is a great mystery to me that if someone declares war on your country it's basic common sense to go after those people and not someone else just because he's a "bad man." There are an awful lot of unanswered questions about the US motives in the Middle East and they don't smell too right.....................!!

I think I have honestly figured out what to do about the war in Iraq.
We all know that no matter what happens politically, this war will either Never end, or won't end for 50+ years. The best way in my opinion would be this.
1. Construct shabby nuclear weapons. hundreds of them. Make their contruction look to be amateurish. Then dispurse them in 100 mile section through all of Iraq and Iran.
2. Detonate.
3. Now, I know what you're thinking. Oh hell, the Internation community would crawl all up our A** for that. But if we make it look like terrorists did it, and I mean REALLY make it look like terrorists did it, would it really be so hard to believe?

Be honest, if you turned on the news tonight and saw that a terrorist had detonated a Nuclear weapon in the middle of Baghdad, would you REALLY be surprised?
What if hundreds went off and destroyed them all? End of the war. End of everything over there. Troops come home. No more bs from the middle east.

The email said:

"I am Captain L. David Marquet of the US Marine Force on Monitoring and Peace keeping mission in Baghdad-Iraq.

"On the 7th day of March 2007, we were alerted on the sudden presence of some Terrorists camping in a suburb not too far from Karbala here in Iraq. After Immediate intervention, we captured three (3) of the Terrorists, twenty-six (26) were killed leaving seven (7) injured.

"In the process of torture they confessed being rebels for late Ayman al-Zawahiri and took us to a cave in Karbala which served as their camp. Here we recovered several guns, bombs and other Ammunitions including some boxes among which two contains nuclear weapons, one filled with hard drugs (cocaine) and the other four to my amazement contain some US Dollars amounting to $4.2M after I and two of my junior intelligent officers counted them.

"I however instructed them to keep this in high secrecy. I am in keen need of a “Reliable and Trustworthy” person like you."
