Not only is he dead, the Iraqis tell me they also burned his body and fed it to a dog (poor dog) for a further insult. The story I am told here in Baghdad is that Saddam's own familiy did this out of spite to him.
Now, if that last part is totally true, I cannot confirm, but I know Saddam is dead. He was executed by his own people.

Saddam Husane might still be alive, but it is almost a 100% certainty that Saddam Hussein is worm dirt.
