I think this will solve the don't ask don't tell policy. What do you think ? When the gay army beats Iran, Iran will be the laughing stock of the world.

No we should not. But that would be a site to see. Soldiers in pink uniforms and fur-lined body armor taking over Iran......

Imagine a citizen of Iran speaking out for gay marriage... They would be shot on sight.

Who would fund the extra money needed to do this? Besides the number of gays serving isn't worth the extra time and resources. People should just leave the military alone and let the leaders decide what's best. The military leaders have spent their entire life in this enviornment, and they need to make the right decisions based on what's best for the military, not a certain group of people.

I don't think so. Being gay is wrong. Being gay is a sick perversion. Homosexuals are mentally unstable and they have no place in the military or society. Steps need to be taken so that homosexuals get the help that they need so that they can be normal. If that's possible. Its just not right to have two males poking each other in the rear and the same with females doing there thing. Its sick, gross, disgusting. How can anyone think that is right. YUK!!

It's an idea but not really a good one.

Although I support equal treatment of all people, I'm not in favor of Gays in the military anymore than I'd be an advocate of intigrating men's and womens' sleeping quarters.

Gay men will be distracted by the bodies of the ones they are attracted to sleeping within inches of them just as a straight man couldn't sleep next to a pretty woman without having troubles sleeping...even if they didn't actually have sex.

If gay guys are having difficulty sleeping because they are surrounded by hard bodies ready for combat, how can they be effective on their job? (If a guy is truly gay they will be attracted to the men that are all around them and the men who are around them will naturally feel uncomfortable.) How can people be effective with these conditions?

The gay people, while being very good military people and good at every job straight people can do, need to have separate sleeping quarters...how can that be managed? I think it is something that should be considered. If we wouldn't allow men and women to sleep in the same tent, how can we justify allowing men who are attracted to men or women who are atttacted to women to sleep with each other in close proximity?

If accomodations were made, then men who like men and women who like women would be in tents and barricks together and could become sexually active...taboo..as straight men and women aren't allowed to have sex while on the job.

BIG PROBLEM and the problems don't really have to deal with sexual orientation as they do with equality and fair treatment for all. Gays and straights!

A separate army is probably not a good idea...then again, we allow a women's army and a men's army. It would be different than separating a military by race or religion. I don't know if separation would be legal but for practical reasons, it may be a good idea. Don't you suppose Gays would be against it as they LIKE being surrounded by beautiful hard bodies of their preferred gender.

If you asked guys if they'd like to stay in the barricks with the girls and they could vote on it, there would be a resounding YES, ITS RIGHT WE SHOULD STAY WITH THE WOMEN AND HAVE A WOMAN AS A BUNK MATE.

If you ask women if they'd like to saty in the barricks with the guys and they could vote on it, there would be a resounding NO, WE HAVE A RIGHT TO PRIVACY!

What is fair? I believe separation by gender is a good thing and if separation by gender is good, then maybe separation by sexual preference may be just as good. Something to think about.

No That would be a bad idea and a waste of money.

Don't ask, don't tell is as good as it gets for gay people wishing to join the military.

There's already a gay section of the military. It's called the Royal Navy.

No not really on the laughing stock. They would be beat by Americans and to them that's bad enough.

As for the gay army, I see nothing wrong with it. I had a big problem with guys scoping me out while having to shower in the Marines. You can tell the difference and I don't care what others say. I don't want a gay checking me out. It tend to get violent and I have been known to break the hand of a gay that wouldn't heed my warnings.

I don't have a problem with gays but I do have a BIG problem with phaggots.

no. gay people are still people too. and with the way our military is with needing people you'd think they would be more accepting of it.
