More than 3000 U.S. soldiers have died in the past 4 years in Iraq. THe majority of these men and woman being under 20..
They are just kids and they are bleeding for you and me. They don't complain..they signed up to keep freedom free for you and me. Do you know how many out of the millions of americans make a sacrifice and join the army? Less than 1%. These people and their families are the ones sacrificing for our(US) country. Do they not deserve a thanks? When they return they see signs of pull the troops out of iraq. The war is for nothing.
Their brothers have bleed in iraq..and i'm sure it doesnt feel good when the majority of the population does not believe its for a reason. Thanks for the answers

It all reads like a shell game. I am really trying. I support you, but this whole war reeks to high heaven.

Of course not! If we pullout now, then they will attack us in our homeland. Also, there will be more chaos in Iraq with a civil war. I know people are dying right now (a little more than 3000 dead) but that is war. In war you are always going to have death. Vietnam you had 50k +, etc. However, I don't agree with why we entered this war. I support our troops, Bush and this country. God bless this great nation!

What do you guys think? pullout or stay? and why?

particulary about basic training. is it true you should only bring the clothes on your back? I heard that they have you a sort of charge card like that you use to purchase the things you need like toothpaste shaving stuff etc....... and then it would be later deducted from your pay. is that true or do you have to bring ur own atm card. what if u don't have a bank account?

I've always wanted to be a navy seal, but with the wars nowadays, i just can't help but wonder if the profession has lost its prestige as we are fighting useless wars. Would it still make a good career?

A friend recently told me that most engineers and scientists working on the Manhattan Project did not know that they were helping to create an atomic bomb. This makes sense, since there were 120,000 people working on the project--for security reasons, I'm sure the government wouldn't want everyone to know what they were creating. But can anyone send me some specific information about this? My friend said he saw this in a documentary (possibly on the History Channel). Is there other information on the secrecy of this project available? Where can I find it? Thanks...

This guy over Spring Break gave my sister this coin and said he got it defending a hill in the Army. He's kind of a creep and is now stalking her. She tried to give it back but e won’t take it and refuses to let her mail it back to him.
So I will describe this wonder coin to you now...
One side has "An Army Winner in Europe"
On the flip side edges it says "Association on the United States Army” The image is of an eagle standing on a shield. On the shield there is a torch kind of like the one the statue of liberty holds. Behind the image of the eagle there is a branch. Maybe an olive branch???
I think it's a fake and some pick up line this jerk uses.

He's telling her that there is only a 100 of these things in the world. She just met him at a night club and then later on the beach. This guy said he was told to give it to a speacial person in his life. I think he has a bucket of them and passes them out to girls.
Can anyone validate this guy’s claim or shoot it down?
