Yes I support this war. Regardless of what ever reason people believe we went to Iraq (e.g. WMD's, oil, ect) I truly believe that Saddam needed to be ousted. There was no doubt he had WMD's because he used them on his own people and on the Iranians. He committed mass murder on large scales.
The place is a mess, and I blame it on the political involvement, media, and the people who just can’t handle the ugliness of war. If we were allowed to do our job without the pressure of these factions then we would have already been gone.
If we leave now, Iraq will be a safe haven for terrorists and even more people will die. We owe it to the Iraqi's to establish a governing system that will be able to provide security to the country.
The nicest man I ever befriended was an Iraqi man who was my interpreter. His entire family was killed by Saddam. He believes in his country and he knows that it’s going to be hard but it’s a fight worth fighting. There wasn’t a day that went by that he didn’t thank me. I believe in this war because he did. He wasn’t the only one either.

Served in a COMBAT FUNCTION!!! from May 05 to May 06. No I do not support the war. Wrong war, wrong time. I never believed in it because there was no connection between Iraq and the 9/11 attack, but in our training they gave a point by point specific trail on how they were. After I got back I spoke with my college professor who is ex CIA and worked there for 19 years reaching the title of Director of Operations (this is really high up there for those of you who know about the CIA)before retiring. He also was a hostage in the Iranian embassy for 444 days in the 70's and I told him everything they told us. The information was sooooo flawed and incorrect. Also, the administration has constantly changing reasons for war. A rushed NIE for Congress, lying and cover up, mistreatment of Iraqi people. In my year in Iraq, I saw more to create and multiply terrorism than to prevent it. Sure we take 3 steps forward but we then take 10 steps back. There were never WMD. If you were worried about that, then you should have gone after North Korea who admited to having them. If you wanted to talk about human rights violations, then you should start in Sudan rather than Iraq (ps. The kurds that Hussien killed were because of the US...look it up).

I served in Iraq in OIF II.
I worked in a brigade HQ and we had CNN running 24x7. As a result I was able to compare what the news was telling you with 'ground truth.'
Sadly, people believe we are losing and it is pointless because that is what some journalist who has never been to Iraq thinks will produce better ratings.

Yes I do support it, Because I've seen how a population lives in terror, and how we help them rid themselves of that.
How it keeps the Terrorists from the USA
Good Offense is the best Defense.....
