Has al-qaeda really been inside of Brazil, and does it have extensive ties to Honduras, Mexico, Argentina and other South American countries? Has Brazil been experimenting with Nuclear technology from the A.Q. Khan network? What are AL-qaedas plans for a nuclear Brazil?

i have heard such rumors as well that islamic extremists have contacts or networks in latin america
i come from brazil and the thought that people might wish to commit terrorism there never crossed my mind (if you do not consider the rampaging crime there a form of terrorism that is)
however this is not entirely impossible that al quaeda might be active there as there are huge numbers of arab people living in brazil, and it is quite possible that some may support islamic extremist groups

as for a nuclear brazil, it is true that brazil has a nuclear program but it is strictly an energy program

There are million of Arabs in Brazil (including me). But they are refugees of the war in Lebanon or immigrants that came here in the beggining of the last century. In fact, Brazilians simply don't care about what United States is doing (for us It's much better while you are entertained with the incredible waste of money in Iraq). We are CERTAINTLY more interested in the potencial of Biofuels. Brazil is a practical country, and not ideological.
In relation to the nuclear weapons, probably Brazil has the technology and the natural resources to produce it, but they would never confirm that. I believe that they are secretly envolved with the US government (and not with Al Qaeda). I know that because I read many books and articles of brazilian diplomacy. One very interesting fact: Germany used Brazil to produce nuclear technology against France (they did that because they were afraid of causing a new war against the two countries). This is only my opinion. I don't know if this is true.

Obs.: Germany and France were the responsibles for the first and the second world war. France has a finished nuclear program, but Germany don't have until now. During the 70's, Brazil and Argentina were governed by dictatorships, and Brazil received many investments and technologies from Germany. Brazil and Argentina developed nuclear programs. In 1990, some politics in Brazil were in favor of contructing an atomic bomb. Today, Brazil is openly developing a nuclear submarine. United States visited some nuclear plants in Brazil in 2004 and they confirmed that "there is no atomic bomb". Brazil was against Non- proliferation agreements until 2001. Today Brazil subscribed the treaty, but I read some documents about that and they are totally ambiguos (I finished to read the book, but I still didn't know if Brazil has or if it doesn't have a nuclear weapon).

Obs2: Very interesting: Bin Laden's brother is a Brazilian diplomat!!!

Obs3: Bin Laden achieved heaven: He is with 20 virgins in Ipanema Beach, in a wonderful and tropical landscape !!!

The brazilian frontier with paraguay have the largest slam community outside arabia and asia.

Probably have some fanatics like al qaeda, but BRAZIL is not a terrorist country, dont have any dictactor or marxist leader, dont have a president like chavez, and our nuclear plants are for energy.

Brazil is a great country and dont have anything to do with al qaeda.

I heard that Talibanists have to learn how to dance the "Samba" before they are accepted on a mission. This could be the answer to your question.

The Brazilians and the Venezuelans support anti capitalism at any cost , this includes supporting terrorist.

Hugo Chavez the dictator of socialist Venezuela has publicly backed the insurgents who kill our soldiers at the same time we pay his salary by buying Citco gas.

Brazil has just elected their own Marxist dictator who as we speak is giving there senate a enema to rid itself of any other power than himself. he has also pledged his support for the Iranians.

WE MUST NOT SIT BACK AND ALLOW THIS,
JUST BY REFINING OUR OWN FUEL WE COULD BANKRUPT BOTH OF THEM .

Very Saddam ish or Tali bani
