If we do a sweep and kill everyone in Iraq, does that mean we win the war on terror and the world will live happily ever after?

I don't think so, but they insist on living in that fairy tale world.

And fighting a war on 3 fronts with no allies is not the cleverest thing .......

the figures for unemployment, death, hunger, crime and many other difficiencies are rising and what are the world governments doing? they are sending their money into space and blowing it up on the battlefields.
I find space fascinating. But shouldn't the welfare of people be more important. The shuttle programme currently costs about $4.5 billion per year.imagine how many mouths that could feed!

The cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan has soared and may now reach $811bn (£445bn), says a report by the Congressional Research Service. It estimates that Congress has appropriated $368bn for the global war on terror, including both conflicts. It says that if the current spending bill is approved, US war costs will reach $439bn, and it estimates that an extra $371bn may be needed by 2016. On that basis, the two wars would cost more than the $579bn spent in Vietnam

An article, Mission imperial, in Guardian UK has exposed the lifestyle for the Imperialistic 'rich and famous' in Iraq's Green Zone - indeed, seemingly more glorious than how evil Saddam and his playboy sons had lived!
http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,,2016264,00.html

It's no wonder Bush wants more American soldiers in Iraq to protect his and his friends' Imperialistic Fantasyland. It's no wonder that soldiers who serve in the Green Zone are willing to serve as poster boys and gals to support the Iraq War or demand to return to Iraq. it's no wonder the likes of Joe Lieberman , and those Zionist Repugs and Right Wing NeoCon media honkers speak of the Iraq progess - especially when they had dined at the cafeteria in the Green Zone's Republican Palace?? Food supplies sent to the Green Zone from Kuwait? Guess nations, like Kuwait, are making profits out of Iraq without having to send their Troops and money to fight the war. How cool.
