John Murtha is a political hack that will say anything to rally the Democratic base.

John Murtha is a disgrace to the Troops.

not one of the above. anybody who needs the reality ought to look Murtha up on Wikipedia. Murtha is defined as being professional-existence and professional second modification, so he's not any longer all that liberal. dissimilar veterans are both professional-existence and professional second.

I have a lot of reservations about Mr.Murtha.His record to date indicates that he doesn't do much of anything that doesn't involve a distinct advantage-financial or otherwise-for himself or his cronies.Having said that, how is Mr.Murtha hurting our troops more than Al Qaeda?

George Bush has done more to damage to our troops than any president since Richard Nixon.Bin Laden's head should of been on a pike years ago,but George and his cronies decided to have their war in Iraq, which had nothing to do with 9/11,and let him get away. Now I'm hearing on the news this morning that he's regrouped to the point where he's got training camps set up in Pakistan.

And the military has been warning for months that Al Qaeda and the Taliban are going to mount a massive offensive in the spring and that there are nowhere near enough troops on hand to stop them. The 2000 troops Bush is sending is another empty gesture from a President who doesn't care about defeating the people responsible for the murder of almost 3000 Americans.

So,your attack on the Democrats is just another pile of wingnut dung.

He didn't complain when the troops were sent to Haiti,Bosnia,East Timor or Somalia under Clinton.
Those were civil wars, but a lib was in power.
Obviously, the difference is who's in power.
He is just a lib, the only thing that matters is power.
He'd gladly send our troops to Darfur, another civil war.
Traitors are always self serving PUKES.

He is a disgrace to the uniform he once wore.

I will not be surprised if a group of veterans organize in his district and he does not win reelection. Johnstown is not the same as San Fransisco. His antics will only play so far and he is in the final act.

Some 30-odd years in Congress, former Marine, THE go-to guy in Congress for the Joint Chiefs lo these many, many, many years. That's why when he says that Iraq is going south, you KNOW it's going south, because Murtha knows the military and the people in the military, up and down the line.

Bet you thought he was just a "Pelosi Democrat". Learn something before you spout.

[ADDED] He's also anti-choice, pro-NRA, and ascribes to just about everything else that conservatives claim to value in their conservative Democratic friends. But you (and about everyone else who replied to you) are too incapable of doing the research necessary to buttress your screeds, because to do so would leave you without anything to say, 9 out of 10 times.

Not with any language I could use on this website without penalty. He is beneath contempt in my eyes. He should be impeached for treason: aiding and abetting the enemy in a time of conflict.

Old has been soldier who more than likely did his lack luster career for the retirement. There are many like him, his kind are easy to pick out of a crow.

An arrogant traitorous wind bag, so out of touch with our troops and average Americans, to think he "represents" us is laughable.
