If my boyfriend now has his permanent mailing address does that mean he can't be rejected or not graduate? Or can he still not pass?

... could a circumstance ever conceivably arise in Iraq that would make withdrawal a considerable option? If so, what would that situation look like in terms of the violence or the cost in lives or dollars? Please understand that I'm not being rhetorical here; I'm honestly curious.

For those who say "no, never", however, I would ask you to explain what makes this different from Vietnam. I'm not saying Vietnam and Iraq are identical; I'm only wanting input as to how you think we can avoid the mistakes of the past.

Please, only answer if you are not in favor of immediate withdrawal; I don't want this to become a swarm of "my team" complaining loudly, as always and giving each other high fives for it (which isn't to say that we are necessarily wrong either).

In my opinion the lack of "public" support for our President and our troops is tatamount to treason. This war would have been won by now if our citizens had given full "WWII like" support to this effort to combat terrorism. Instead they give their full energy to hating our President and forwarding their our selfish political agenga. An agenda full of immorallity and religious repudiation.

In my opinion it was quite excellent. I was surprised by the absolute numbers of dead and wounded. I was also very impressed with the bravery on both sides. It is also interesting to draw parallels to any war environment including Vietnam and Iraq. Oposition tothe war in the North was huge and Linclon was very unpoplular. He thought he would lose the election to McClellon (sp) right up until Sherman's victory outside of Atlanta only a few months before the election. Those brave soldiers like our soldiers today were true warriors, ordinary citizens who stepped up to do what they thought was right. Really makes you think about what people are willing to risk today compared to then.

The UN Resolution says no one is allowed to supply Iran with materials for Nuclear plants, yet now they announce they are building 3,000?

When are we going to wake up and destroy all 13 or 15 of their plants and put them on front street?

Is anyone else tired of the Islamic countries holding us hostage on one topic or another and using the UN like an ATM?

They are in a win win situation, are they not? If they make nuclear power, they can become a threat. If they build a lot of plants that create enriched Uranium, they are a real threat. And the closer they get to a nuclear warhead, the more dangerous they appear. And every dollar they invest in the program is worth 10 times that in Diplomatic buy off money when the time comes for full blown sanctioning. Does no one else see that we are being duped by backwards Bedouin Pirates?

I don't pay ransoms, why is everyone else content to play this game?

I know that if you're in the military as well as your siblings and any of them got KIA, they'll grant you exemption from combat. Just wondering if they'll do the same for any soldier/sailor/marine/airman who's an only child, only son, or only daughter.

Bush has just given the thumbs up to deal with Iranians helping insurgent Iraqs within Iraqs borders, by "any means necessary". Sounds violent. I predict alot more blood is going to be spilled soon; the Middle East has become an American warzone. What do you think?

...sometimes just military wannabees. Its almost as though a questioner can guess who is really a mlitary. But sometimes, in fact many times, when you ask a question it turns out that the person who answers has absolutely no knowledge of what they are talking about. I'm talking about quest's such as "How long is basic training for army?" "when did military start using (a cetain type of weapon)", or even questions about their sleeping arrangements. etc. I like it when an answerer identifies him/herself as a member of our military. They usually know what they are talking about...
