I was told we went to war in Iraq because they had weapons of mass destruction. They were a big threat to us. Now we find out they had no WMD's and were not a threat.
should anyone here stand trial for the killing of 3000 american troops for a bogus war?

I heard there's a gun that shoots from an angle. You can turn the barrel and see what's around the corner. Also shoot what's around. Is this true???

in a recent debate i attended the issue of an IRA bombing in a bar in England was discussed. One person made a point that the IRA are an army and fact stated that this bar was a military bar and hence a military target for the IRA civilians however were killed and not all were soldiers. Then the person asked what was the difference between what an IRA soldier had done in planting a bomb in the bar as opposed to American military planes bombing towns and villiages in Irag and Afganistan.Civilians were killed in both attacks so why was it a terrorist attack for one and not for the other when they are both wars.If the IRA bomber had dropped his bomb from a plane like the US military would this have changed how the attack was precieved. At the end of the day the results are the same innocent people have died so what allows that to be made acceptable for anyone. So what makes an attack a military attack and what makes it a terrorist attack. This really has made me think whats your view

My husband joined the Air Force. He is in the DEPS program now until the end of April. He was given an EOD contract, but we have a huge amount of credit card debt (around 30,000). We are falling behind fast. He hasn't been working for 3 months now, and things were hard when we had two incomes. He has been looking for jobs, but he cannot find one. We're considering a few options. The first is to file bankruptcy. He's pretty sure that the air force will not take him if we end up filing, but that the army or marines might. I was also thinking about maybe a debt management program? Does anyone have any advice?

My belief is that is does not. I do believe he got what he deserved. I'm not a big fan or killing people, but certainly if you are gonna execute people, he'd be the kind of person one would execute.

My feeling is that some may take "advantage" in a very short period of his execution as an "excuse" but they are not really fighting for Saddam. They are fighting for various agendas, many of which existed before Saddam was even born.

Please let me know your feelings.

These are translations from few of my fellow soldiers in Iraq including my self. Last entry: March 8 2005-Iraq: "Many things have happened since my departure. From kaos to missery. I get force from the thinking in a better future. Lokking toward for a time of peace, a time of pation, a time of love. Even when my days here are far to finish, I feel that the worst is already gone. Everything is like going down the hill. Why do I feel like that? Is clear that here is some time of fighting... I guess is the idea to go back home, to you... even for a short time... had relieved me from the majority of my problems and worries. Weird, Isn't?" This was the last entry of the Puerto Rican soldier Francisco Martinez to his girlfriend Mariela. Francisco died on March 20, 2005 in Iraq. I met him in Afghanistan in April 2005 in a patrol we made together his platoon. Happy guy and always thinking on coming back to marry his girlfrien to make a family to move back to Puerto Rico from Texas.

I have attended two funerals of my fellow service members who have fallen in Iraq and Afganitan and protesters showed up and burned the American Flag and screamed some pretty verble remarks. How is this ok? Why is this not being stoped? I makes me wonder how I can defend that sort of thing. I am outraged!

In the world today when the supposed main threat to world peace is terrorism do you think Britain needs to begin increasing its army RAF and Royal navy instead of this spirral to a near non existent ( i mean our overall strength is just over 200,000 which is just bigger than the USMC ) What if as some people see it we have to go to war with Iran, China The Middle East would 200,000 soldiers be enough to play a part. I know we are as good as anyone if not better man for man but when you start out numbering us 10,20,30 to one in men and equipment could we take the strain? I think we may struggle. We made the world a better place whilst the superpower but now we are heading the way of Spain, Italy, Germany and becoming a total has been which cannot make a difference to the world. Do we want that of as Brits do we want to continue what our nation has stood for a inject fear into any nation that dares challenge our freedom and rights as we once did just a few decades ago. Your thoughts?
