I have been thinking about joining the National Guard. I need a way to start making my own money so I can pay for college myself instead of having my mom pay for everything and taking control of my life. I see joing the National Guard as a way out. I will be making my own money, have money for college, and I think it will help me become more independent and a stronger person. My friends tell me that it is a bad idea because I am black, a girl and gay. I do have a friend that is in the National Guard and she says that none of that matters because she is both black and a girl and says that I just don't say anything about being gay. I still am a little hesitant about joining. Do I have good reasons and will it help be become a stronger and more dependent person. If I do join, I will do it during the summer while school is out. When the summer is over, I think I might transfer to a school out of the city. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do or anything I need to be prepared for

Why did we allow him to be executed so soon. There are so many things left unanswered. I think its because the US didnt want him to leak while on trial? What is up with that? First we help him during the Kennedy years and them we kill him. Which im totally for but that just goes to show how the administration works hu?

Today New York Times has published in a single image all pixels of died soldiers since 2003 in Iraq.
In Italy this new has reached our important newspapers.
It was difficult today for us to see all faces of our lost American friends.
How have you reacted in front of this article in the website?
I think we can't forget. We mustn't forget.
God bless all our American friends.

It is generally believed that Iran is seeking to become a nuclear power. And North Korea has made it clear that they want to have nuclear weapons. There are many nations that would not tolerate either of these countries having nuclear weapons.
The United States has already invaded a country (Iraq) on the premise that it had WMDs. And both Iran and North Korea are on the axis of evil. So it stands to reason that the U.S.A. attacking Iran or North Korea is at least a possibility. Which scenerio would be worse for the world? Surely attacking Iran would would be disaterous to the economy, not to mention being militarily complicated. But attacking North Korea would be no cake walk either. They have a huge military that is 'dug in'. They would respond with everything they have and invade the south. Either of these potential wars would make Iraq look easy. Which one would be worse for the world and for the United States? And why? And will we ever see these events happen?

This morning i woke up to our emergancy sirens ringing, i got shocked as they got louder and louder, the first thing i thaught was that it was just a test and it was, but then it got me thinking, what if it was real, where would i go??? what do i do?? I see Israelis in Israel have bomb shelters and know when to go, but us here in the U.S, do we have bomb shelters??? where would i go incase of an attack?? are we not safe??? thanks to all!

"When we roll out, I usually think to myself, 'So is today we get hit with another IED?'" says Lt. Charles Bies.

LIVES SHATTERED IN AN INSTANT

On March 6, a Humvee with five U.S. Army soldiers aboard was blown up by an improvised explosive device in Tal Afar, Iraq.

The explosion

• Driver's seat: Pfc. Ricky Salas Jr. died instantly. ( His parents are sad because no WMD found ) Died for nothing!!

• Front passenger seat: 1st Lt. Charles Bies was pinned inside the vehicle and suffered fractures in his cheekbone and eye socket. He died later.

• In gun turret: Spc. Nicholas Helfferich was thrown 25 feet and woke up to find his pelvis and ribs broken and spine injured.

• Rear seat: Spc. Jose Morales saw a blinding flash, then noticed something lying on his chest. It was his left foot. He lost his left leg and suffered a broken arm. Now he knows war is not worth it.

Well since so many leftists tell me I should join up and fight. Are you joining Peace Corps or Americoprs and helping those less fortunate? If not, you are a hypocrite.

BTW, I did over 20 years of military service, so save your foul breath and just answer the question. mk
