The left leaning media does not want the war to be won by us. They do not want to report GOOD news. The news there is the muslims are dissatisfied with Hezbollah. Hezbos are doing nothing to rebuild Southern Lebanon and help there people, of course.
The Hezbos have been trying to overthrow the Lebonese government for some time. Now Lebanon is 60% Muslim and 40% Christian.

Hezbollah doesn't make the ratings for the media. The higher the ratings, the more money the network recieves. Doesn't matter the story. If Darfur would make ratings or Afganistan, they'd be all over that, instead of Iraq. Hezbollah, and there connections in Syria, are definitly something to be concerned with though.

Because there's absolutely zero chance of U.S. military involvement in Lebanon in order to take out Hezbollah (too volatile, not enough oil, and besides Israel can take care of it) and thus the government doesn't waste its energy dishing out incendiary accusations about Lebanon and links to terrorism. Face it, the media feeds directly off the administration's policy priorities.

If there's and newsworthy amount of activity in that area, you can be sure that it will be well covered.
