i missed the spelling thing whoops any way iam being general in my Q it is a question (the japs were at war with the commonwealth befroe the european war broke out) I cant spell very well fair enough. Its not individual Americans i dislike its mostly the leaders and the throw away cultures that both our cultures have. Any way when American won its indipendance the leaders voted on which language to adopt only one vote seperated the winning language (English) from German. And as many have said the Russians would have won if and only if we had won the battle of britain (wich we did)

One would assume you're British, and if this IS the case then you're letting us all down with your dreadful spelling. Now, BEFORE YOU START about "Oh don't go on about the spelling " etc etc, this is REALLY a good case in point:
You CANNOT expect people to seriously listen-to or read your arguments when you can't express yourself properly without making so many spelling errors especially when you could have so easily used the spell checker. Just look at your grammar: Too many lower-case letters when they should have been capitals - and I've got fed up with it by now, and so will a lot of other people here. Sorry, I'm not trying to wind you up or make you look daft, but do you see what I mean? You've got some good points to make but you only let yourself down in the end, as well as making the rest of us look idiots in front of the Americans about whom you are complaining !
Oh My God! I've just looked at all the postings that have been made whilst I was writing mine. I thought I might be castigated for it, but it seems that after all, it's you who are being told just how badly educated you are after all!

Ok Alex K. Where do I start?
I could just send you my stock answer as per normal for morons like you, which would be a quote from a fairly influential American of our time , Moe Sislack: "Yer an idiot".
But I have a little time today to waste on an ignorant prat, and hey! That prat is you!
So you know "so many" people in England and Europe who hate "the americans" eh? Riiiiiight......... .
Firstly, I doubt you know "so many" people. Unless you are talking about students, and all right thinking people know that students don't really count. No, I suspect that you are some sad spotty little loner, who, as he is not "getting any", has plenty of time, and, (fuelled by sexual confusion/frustraion), plenty of anger, that needs to be directed somewhere, anywhere. Perhaps an American student has spurned your fumbled and inept advances, or laughed at your underdeveloped genitalia, perhaps you think it's fashionable to be anti-American, who knows? The main thing is you really are quite insane. Also thick. You can't spell, you cannot punctuate, and you think that anybody in England or America should give a **** about what Europe, Asia, Japan or Australia think? My advice: Get A Life! Stop thinking that you have any accurate idea of how the world is, was, or ever will be. Because, I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but you are not one of the worlds great thinkers. So you are not helping anyone with your ill-thought out bile. Least of all yourself. Go out and have some fun. You remember fun don't you? Have a few drinks, meet some new people, (students don't count), get yourself laid (if you can). You will see that life really is great. I mean, you'll never have the pride of being able to call yourself English, or even American, but that doesn't mean you have to continue down this road of jealousy and hate. Lighten up man. whatever your nationality.

I agree with you. I think it will not be too long, however, until the US economy goes into decline and the European economy rises to compete with China. The Unification of Europe economically has scared the **** out the US primarily because several countries (Iran and Venuzuela) are putting forward the idea of trading oil in Euros. Iran has already started this and Venuzuela are likely to follow suit. This will severely damage the US economy.
The Dollar is already weak but many countries had always wanted it. The US Federal Reserve print dollars for next to nothing which are then used to import goods from other countries. Essentially the US is getting these goods for next to nothing. This has led to the famous US trade deficit of 48% - no country can afford to sustain this. The Euro's introduction was the EU's way of saying we want something for nothing too. Thus the EU countries print their Euros for next to nothing and use these to trade and hey they too can get something for next to nothing. This is already happening and more and more countries are beginning to demand Euros and not dollars because the Euro is worth $1.3.
Regarding the war the US revisionists tell us that they saved Britain. That is bullshit. The Battle of Britain saved Britain and the heroes of that battle were the Polish and Czech pilots who racked up more kills than any other country. Sure, they were flying British planes but that doesn't change the facts. You are completely right that Britain is just preparing to finish paying off the war debt to the US. They didn't get that help for nothing.
US revisionists also forget that it was the Russians who were first into Germany and Berlin. It was the Russians who fought the hardcore units of the german army while the US and Britain essentially faced the more inexperienced troops. It was the Russians that Hitler wanted to keep at bay because he knew that were more ruthless than the democratic countries of Britain, France and the US. It was the Russians that lost 26,000,000 people fighting Germany alone since 1941. It was they that made the first advances thanks to the Battle of Kursk and they who essentially occupied the largest amount of territory taken by the Germans in WW2.
Why do the US revise this history and why do the young generations believe it? Well it has everything to do with the Cold War where every contribution made by Russia was undermined. Hell the youth in America probably believe that John Glenn was the first man in space!!!!
One final point. I don't hate Americans. I find Americans very liberal and easy going people. I do disagree with their foreign policy and their murderous government. But a time will come when they ask for our help.

there are a few mistakes in your question.
first England wasn't fighting anyone in the late 30's if they where there was no ww2. England and France just stood there watching while Germany ran over Austria and Poland and did nothing. if they attacked Germany while its army was in Poland Hitler would have had no chance at all . and for the aid it got from the us it was given under the lend lease agreement, where in lend lease do u see "for free"? i know a few people who don't hate Americans and they all live in Europe just like me some people are grate full that America and England are willing to stand up to treats if not them who will?? answer me that one.
by the way the Internet was developed by and for the American army with help of a Belgian firm and a British gentleman who lives in America..and was first release for use by some university's and later for general use.
and no I'm not a yank. wanker!!!

Whilst I dont not agree with the original poster, who is clearly a troller, I would like to point out to some of the American responders here that the Battle of Britain was actually fought and won before America joined the war.
After the Battle of Britain Hitler turned his eyes to the East and no longer posed a serious threat to Great Britain, so to say, or imply America somehow 'saved' Britain is not correct.

Don't generalise - not all Americans are happy with their country's foreign policy (recent mid-term elections, for a start) or how the war on terror is going. Europe is too divided to be a match for the US militarily - look at Bosnia. France, Britain or Italy could have immediately sent troops in to defend the innocents who were being murdered there, but nothing happened!

Everyone has their own ideas and opinions of the war. Yes, even the Americans. In the end, if we agree on it or not, we should support out troops. Maybe not for what they are doing but for a safe and speedy return. There are powers in this world we can not accept. If you do not like the US, you are certainly entitled to your own opinion. But it is rather sad how you direct your resentment at our soldiers who for the most part are doing the job they get paid to do. There are always some bad apples that will make the news and make it sound we are animals. But the ones that are doing the job with pride, the ones that are dying, what about those? I hope you will change your anger into something more constructive.

I'm British (Welsh not English) and I dont "hate" America.
I don't agree with a lot of what Americans beleive in and say - I think their society is very capitalist and greedy and life is hell for the poor (and I hate their attitude that anyone who's poor "deserves" it because they are "lazy". I've seen way too many hard working people who still struggle to make ends meet!). I also agree with SP that the Battle of Britain was fought and won before America even got involved in the war they didn't "save our asses", it was a joint allied effort and its very arrogant for them to try to take the whole credit for it!!
But I don't "hate" them. They don't wish us ill, like Al Quaida do. I reserve my "hatred" for those fanatics!

F**k*n right the USA is always going on about how it won the war (WW2) but they didn't even turn up until things were pretty much decided, yes they helped allot but the certainly didn't win it we would of won with just Russia as our ally it might of taken abit longer but,
did you know Roosevelt never declared war on Germany!!
No 4 days after pearl harbour Hitler finally decided to declare war on them, and there is evidence in some of Roosevelt's writings that he would never of declared war on the Nazis and left it for the Europeans to deal with.
The same thing happened in WW1 the USA didn't turn up until the end, come to claim the spoils and the glory without all the hard work.
As for the special relationship they didn't even support us in the Falklands actually spoke against us. so why should we do what they say now.
The scariest person on this planet is not osama bin laden or some other dictator its the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED F**K*N STATES G W Bush, this guys so trigger happy he makes rambo look like a fluffy bunny.
No america is out for itself and only itself, we are just the fools who do their dirty work

49 percent of Americans disliked the Iraqi fiasco, but patriotism still reigns. As an American, I do worry about how the rest of the so-called free world looks at it. I appreciate your honesty, but weren't you guys sick of the threats of insane jihadist. I feel horrible for the civilians that died in Iraq and Afghanistan. But I'm sick of wondering which fool jihadist is going to strike next. The only other answer is to keep middle easterners out of American/European soil, but that isn't the modern Nafta, help the world to achieve spirit that liberalism has given us. I'm sorry that the world is not a perfect place and I hope you get this message before yahoo erases your sentiment.
