In a practical sense, beyond the fact that it's a contradiction to protect life by taking it (and forgetting that most things humans do are in some way hypocritical): is anything worth killing for? The Greater Good? (not interested in militant muslim answers)

How long do I have to wait to apply for an Officer program after I graduate from bootcamp? I want to graduate college first, and then maybe go to bootcamp, and then possibly hope to become an Officer soon after. Does anyone know how this process works? I would really like to experience bootcamp. Would I have to continue to be an enlisted Marine all four years? Or could I go to OCS sometime soon after I graduate from my MOS school? I am just wondering if I should apply for Officer Candidate School now while I am still in college, or become an enlisted Marine, and then try for an Officer job. Anyone know how this whole process works? Thank you!

Could it be that they would get emotional and would faint from seeing dead and injured bodies on the battlefield?

Or is it that they do not have the athletic abilities that men possess naturally. This can be evident in the world record differences in Athletics between Male and Females.

What do you think or know?

I am a smart guy, I get good grades but I fear just a tad bit too little for the academies. If I wanted to join for 8+ yrs, what are my other options besides inlisting or going to an academy? I am not talking the reserves.

I know with a ROTC program, you go to colledge and train in the summer, is there a similar option for non-reservists?
By the way please don't respond in order to push your political rhetoric. Don't waste my time.

Is there a such thing as joining the military with a combat exclusive contract? I was just wondering because I am considering the military. I don't mind going to war, but I would prefer to not go if there was a way to get out of it.
