For the most part there are 2 ways to find out. (1) Call her unit that she was supposedly discharged from. (2) Any police department, military or civilian, can run her and see if there is a warrant for her for desertion. If you call anyone else they are just going to do what I already said.

And if she is AWOL, do you plan to rat her out??The truth will come out eventually, so don't sweat it. It's her decision, so she will have to deal with it. She may have been better off as an orphan.

If she gains weight but is not pregnant, she might be ,"AWOL"? Cause their food sucks! The Navy is best for eating.

You need to find out what unit she was in and call the post military police or her commander. You should be able to find a phone number online at the post web site.

If you have her military serial number or social security number you might be able to find out through your local county Veteran's Service office.
Does she show signs of wanting to get into politics?

Call her Unit where she was stationed. Or possibly call a recruiter. If all else fails, call any military post and ask them.
