wonder if they'll brag when the day comes and they are in fetters.and the mujahideen videotape their beatings for the world to see.and suffice it to say that if they have seen some of the videos on the net of them gettin their asses kicked they would not be braggin but would be praying that the next ambush fall on their fellow soldiers and not them.while they are at war their wives are seeking attention.families are being destroyed,so they take it out on helpless unarmed civilians.an eye for an eye is the sequel for them.

The same questions over and over. Please write Yahoo there are ways to prevent this, once you write your question it could check for previous like questions. Many times a soldier has seen enough to make him take it out on the population. Once you see combat, the smell is enough to stay with you a life time. You would be surprised how many lose their bodily functions, but you have to contend with someone in a thousands parts or half their entails dripping off your face. Hold down an 18 year boy who yesterday was horse playing and dreaming of going home and buying his first car. You watch a medic boost (over medicate) a soldier so he die peacefully. Watch an enemy shot a friend over and over until there is nothing but mush. You go into a river to retrieve a body, the flesh falls off and creatures are inside the body. A good friend is burnt so badly you have to use a shovel to get all of him. What would you have these men do? Think about this if your grand father had not done what he was suppose to in all likelihood you would not be here. The Germans and Japanese were going to hang someone on every telephone pole and put them into slave labor camps. A soldier does what their country asks regardless of the way he feels about the action or what he is asked to do. I am sorry you don't care for the war; I didn't like Nam or Iraqi. I feel they both were and are mistakes. However, we are there, these boys are doing what they have to do. Unless you have been there, you have no right to say anything. I would like to ask you rather then worry about things like consider volunteering at a Soup Kitchen, Hospice or the Childrens Hospital. God Bless you and the Southern People.

This was probably over blown, They were probably part of a forced cell extraction team. This is a common thing that happens at the detainee camp to get a detainee that refuses to exit his cell for searches, or movement to a discipline block.

Me personally...they should be tried under the UCMJ. Beating a prisoner that is under your care, being a suspected terrorist or not is not a good thing. We have to follow the rules also, but it seems we dont in this case. Its a bad deal.

It is stupid to brag about anything that may be illegal. However, the lower Enlisted men getting blamed for it are more than likely following orders of some dumb *** Officer.

I wonder when, we, the United States became our own enemy. We have become them. We haven't got around to beheading yet. But the way we are going it just don't seem impossible that we will. I think that there should be yet another investigation and if it can be substantiated then those responsible ought to be punished. I think it is one more charge against George Bush in his war crimes trial.

Life isn't fair especially if you were going to blow people up, you should get a little beating. The only thing I feel sorry about is the few inoccent people there.

I think it is sickening. I think the military seems to break the conscience of it's soldiers.

Peace!

a biased, democratic web page is not a source. It is an opinion.

Try again when you get a credible source.
