Every war is different. It depends on the enemy but usually the Air Force and Navy use long range tactics to weaken the country and clear the way for invasion. The riskiest job would be some type of scout in either the Army or Marines as they are sent to do things like recon and patrol to determine what lies ahead before they risk a large contingent of troops.

the air force probably would be some air attacks clear paths for soldiers first, then the marines would probably storm beaches and arrive quickly using an advance dispatch system sending the nearest supply with Heavy supplies like tanks and veichails ship stationed around the world and restocked frequently while planes carry troops to invade the the army comes in with more troops and supplies. I don't know about know but in some WWII invasions paratroopers were on ground first
right now the ones at risk of being sent are probably the army and marines
the ones who hold a higher risk of death im not sure depends on position in the military some branches are sent a lot but well trained, and most air force people aren't the training for each pilot cost millions so probably not air force of navy

Usually, before any war theater becomes official, there's american special operators already in the area. Rangers, Special Forces, Or Delta. Otherwise, It'll depend greatly on the details. Most every Marine will shout and cry that they're the first in. This IS true. If the country has an ocean border, and there's an aircraft carrier in the area. Otherwise: It'll depend on yer perspective. Technically, it'd be the airforce, as Paratroopers are carried aboard Air Force aircraft.

The Marines are generaly first to land on ground. The Marine Corps is known as "The Presidents Own" because he has total control over the Corps. The prisident can send the Marines with out declaring war. It takes an act of congress to declare war, when that is done we can send other troops. In most cases though the navy brings the Marines to where they need to be. Thanks Navy (the Corps taxi service).

It's a joint operation most of the time. The Navy and Air Force attempt to neutralize major elements of the enemy's forces such as airstrips and artillery emplacements while the Marines hit the beaches or are parachuted in with the Army's parachute forces. Seabees are right there with them constructing landing strips and off-loading facilities for supplies and materials. And in actuality, all of these are equally at risk. Battles are won by them that gets thar firstest with the mostest!

Historically we send Marines, Navy Seals or Army Rangers by land or just bomb with the Air Force. With the face of war constantly changing, who can predict which will be most dangerous in a future conflict with new tactics?

depends on the type of war. if its a primarily air war the air force and navy and marine pilots go in first. if its a sea war its the navy. if its ground war usually marines and army. all those jobs are risky and all, wether a combat job or support job in a war zone have a high risk of death or injury.

Depends on where and the situation.
Navy - Seals
Then the Marines
Seals or any special forces are the riskiest, with the USMC next because every marine is an infantry man first.
