I was wondering what are some of the pros/cons of the Airforce. I heard the pay wasnt the best because it is harder to move up rank.

Also I wanted to know about the placement test before you enter. Should I study a peticular subject? Review english, math and sciences?? What should I expect?

I already have short hair. will they cut my waves out of my head?? Do they care if my waves grow in? (African Americans with short hair usually have a honey comb wave patern).

My fiance just left for the army because he thought that is what he wanted to do to help him pay for school. After he was sent to bootcamp he found out his recruiter told him all kinds of lies. He cannot even get the degree that he wanted because it is not offered.

He absolutely hates it there and wants to leave. His paperwork has not been processed and he wants to come home because he knows he made a mistake and his decision was based on lies.

I know his recruiting officer falsified some documents to get him in the army because of the requirements. How can he get out of bootcamp and the army? Please help!

World Wrestling Entertainment is offering all U.S. military personnel free tickets to its live events worldwide as another way for the company to show its gratitude for their service to their country.

Effective immediately, U.S. military personnel from the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard and National Guard can claim a free ticket to any WWE RAW or SmackDown live event in their local area – excluding WrestleMania -- by going to their local arena box office with a military ID the day of the WWE live event. Tickets are available the day of the event while supplies last.

My friend just met a guy who says he's a drill "instructor" (which means USMC). However, he says he's stationed in Columbia, SC. I was under the impression that there was only one base in Columbia that trained new recruits & that would be Fort Jackson, which is Army, not Marines. I'm worried that he may be one of these guys that claims to be in the Marines just to try to impress people. Is there any way to get the names or photos of USMC Drill Instructors online?

Legally, yes it's wrong. But is it morally wrong? A college student hooking up with a professor I don't see as being wrong, they're both consenting adults, why not? So why would it be wrong for a recruiter to hook up with a recruit?

Ganted, Iraq is a mess and in hindsight the US may not have been justified in invading. But, I see at least three major side benefits from the war:

1) The US has sent a strong message to unfriendly governments that if attacked by terrorists we will respond, possibly rashly, with MASSIVE military force.

2) We are keeping many anti-US Islamic militants busy doing damage over there, instead of giving them time and convenience to plot more attacks against US soil.

3) We did topple Saddam Hussien who was very anti-USA.

Who agrees? What other benefits are there?

For those against the war, do you acknowledge the above benefits?
