Just search around the net for his name. If he was a Col then you shouldnt have a problem finding his name...

Google his name. Since he is a COL, there is a good chance that he is in a command position if you google it, it'll definately pop up.

you can call the red cross and tell them you are trying to contact him and they will do it for you, i was in the army, and thats one way to do it
