depends on your point of view if your Iranian he is a strong leader working to defend his country from outside aggresion
To Non Iranians(U.S, Israel) he is a looney who is developing (allegedly) nuclear weapons..

I don't know what you mean by your question, but politically he seems to me that he has some guts, and for the following reasons :
1 - he asked to face our president in a political debate, and our president ran out on him for some reason or another !
2 - he is doing what he is convinced that is best for his country ;
developing the nuclear program, or any other mean of technology.
3 - he is helping to keep the political balance in Iraq.
I think the above reasons qualifies the Iranian president to be one of the strong ones in the world !!! ( just a personal opinion )

He's a rabble-rousing ****. He is also the perfect excuse for the USA and /or Israel bombing Iran back to the Stone-age,so if that's worth having a strong leader,enjoy.

The caricature of Ahmadi-Nijad presented in the western media is inaccurate. I don't think he is a crazed lunatic determined to destroy Israel and the West with nuclear weapons. I think he is more of a rabble-rouser, really.

He is stong in his beliefs, and religion, I would say so much more now because of the unrest in the middle east, and intervention from the west.
