I am a senior in High School thinking of joining the Army. I took my ASVAB and got a 99, and now my recruiter is making me look at a lot of cool jobs like PSYOP and Intel. I was wondering what it the chance that if I sign up, I will later be forced to "retrain" and get another, bad, job, like infantry. I know the Army has garenteed MOS, but how does that affect job chances?

My wife is having lots of problems due to medication for high blood pressure prescribed by a military doctor. I dont think that this doctor cares at all. Would Tricare charge us if we went to an emergency room out in town and not on base?

My boyfriend and i have been seeing eachother for almost a year. He's a single father of two toddlers and an active duty marine. He's somewhat changed with me.. not as caring and as sweet as he was before. He's not really given me as much attention as before either and it makes me feel very very bad. I've also come to think that he's not in love with me anymore, that he see's me as a friend. now all he does is complain and just talk to me about his work. I became upset over all of this and went on a vacation for a few days and once i came back everything seemed to be better than ever but he's started to not have time for me again... i've told him how i felt but he doesnt seem to get it. i've become very frustrated over the situation and sometimes i feel like calling in quits just cause i feel like i cant take it anymore.. i dont want him to feel unwanted or anything because i really love him. I just feel that if he were to spend some time on his own again it would help our relationship

How much more powerful are today's nuclear bomb compared to the ones back in the 50s. I have heard that if one hit D.C it would destroy half the east coast. Is this true?

On NBC News they showed a clip of a predator plane spying on a Al Qaida funeral with about 100 terrorists attending. Apparently the military chose not to bomb the funeral (rules of engagement), so as not to upset the terrorists. Would you have pulled the trigger?

I don't know about Iraq, but I rather doubt any of the insurgents ever signed it. They keep saying that we need to treat detainees according to the rules of eh Geneva Conventions, which is right, as we signed it, but to think that because we are that others will who haven't agreed to it seems presumptuous.

I've been selected to serve on the military ball committee and our goal this year is to draw in about 800-1000 people. The problem is that most of the time only officers and retired officers ever show up to the military ball. Besides lowering ticket costs for the lower enlisted, which we are already working on, what else would make it appealing to the vast bulk of the Army that is the lower enlisted?
PS I already tried suggesting an under the sea theme, it didnt fly with the General.

U.S. says sectarian killings up in Iraq. USA poweless to stop it.
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Sectarian killings have surged in parts of Baghdad not yet included in a security offensive, the U.S. military said Thursday, while bombings and other insurgent attacks killed five American soldiers and wounded 25 in the capital region. Police reported finding 20 bodies dumped on streets, many of them victims of reprisal killings in the escalating conflict between Shiite and Sunni Arabs. The United States appears to be losing the war in Iraq.
