when wars became profitable and drove our economy sky high, who warned us about the dangers of what direction this put our country in...and what did BASF have in common with Germany in WWII that Haliburton and Carlyle group does with current occupiers of Oval office? Why were they split up after the conflict?

I need your opinion. MOS question?
I have narrowed it down to 7 MOS possibilities. I have based these MOS's on my education, ASVAB and my prior experience. Also with the jobs that offer the student loan repayment program. The MOS's are 31s/25p (Microwave sys. Maint), 31r/25q (multichannel sys. oper), 25s (satelite comm maint), 33w (military intel sys maint), 94d (air traffic control equip repairer), 94L(avionics comm repairer) and 94m (radar repairer). The description of each seems as if I wouldnt mind doing them for the time in length that I am enlisting. my recruiter says that I will be able to qualify for either of them. My question is can anyone please tell me what the jobs are like and what kind of job I can get in the civilian world with knowledge experience and the education that the Army will give me? I have a wife and kids and Im just wondering which job I will benifit the most from. which one of the positions has a higher rate of employment in the civilian world. any though

So far in September, 36 US soldiers have been killed,

It looks as if the USA will lose Iraq. The new Iraqi Government is going down in defeat.

Is it obligatory in your country? How long is the period?

In Turkey it is obligatory and every 20 y/o Turkish guys have to spend 15 months for the military service. If u r graduted from a university and u r lucky, u can spend 6 months.

I finished (Allah'a şükür) this obligatory service in 1999 by giving my 15 worthy months and i m still sad about its being obligatory.

I've been there and I know whats going on. We are teaching them how to train there people for war so they can be a free country. So when they singe up to train we give them full gear and A gun. they go through the 3 month training and when there finished they take off with the $300 and sell there gear to god knows who but I can bet its not the good guys plus they get payed $100.00 A month witch is the same as $1000 a month here in the USA. then you see the same guys a month later wanting to sing up again. these people could live the good life if they would fight for it insted of running away.

I am currently thinking about joining the army reserve. I am in college and want to be in a combat oriented field. I know they don't have infantry or other specific combat positions for obvious reasons. What types of jobs can I get related to combat. I am thinking about a combat engineer any others you know of?

If a nuke was launched from a country far away from us *points over there*. The news stations quickly picked up on it and aired it. It was found out to be headed to the U.S. If the location that was to be impacted was at your door step and there was only 5 minutes until it'd impact and you're watching the missile live on live TV in space. If you're thinking about NORAD, let's just add some fun to it by some mishap, the U.S. Missile Defense was under major matinence so no missile defenses was online.

What would your last 5 minutes be if you knew a 50 mega ton or so nuclear missile was aimed at your town. What would be your thoughts? Thinking about confessing? Would you believe in God? "Am I going to die quickly?"

Please explain, I'm bored, make it funny if you have too! Here's what I would do: "I'd sh!t bricks for the first minute, after I couldn't sh!t no more, I'd smoke my last joint. Yeah!

The first question is kinda self explanitory. Why dont snipers just aim and shoot like in the movies and in video games. I expect a .50 cal to shoot strait for a very long distance that you wont have to calculate all the variables. What are the varible you have to calculate and what is the basis of the equation? If the target is so far away that you have to use math to solve it, wont the target be off the scope or because you need to aim at a certain trajectory?

How much space does the Pilot have to move around? Is it tight and compact or can you spread out a little bit?

I'm working on a speech and I'd just like to personalize it a little bit.

Also, if you have gotten close to one what is the sound like?
I've seen/heard f-15s f-16s and f-22s so I know about what a Jet sounds like.

Thanks!

Looks like the god of the sea(Neptune?), walking in water with a trident in his hand carrying a child on his back. Looks like water splashing around the edges. On the back, it has the USN stamped on it with an anchor and chain in the background. At the bottom, it is stamped Creed Sterling. What am I?

As I have considered different Armed Forces, I have heard a lot of trash talk about Navy ships. "It's no fun being cooped up in a metal box all day", I'm told. But then there are some people who say they loved the Navy, but they never explain why. Please explain what the best thing about being in the Navy is, and make it exlusive to the Navy and not to other branches. (So don't mention college money)
