the best way to find a soldier to write to is to contact the red cross because they often support the troops with letters from home or you can also try your local Church's they may have soldiers that need a letter

yes. if you know anyone who has a family member/loved one that is currently over in the war you can ask them. or contact whichever part of the army/navy/national guard/etc. that is closest to you and they will most probably have soldiers that you can write to.

Contact your local VFW, Americain legion or other war veterans clubs. They always have lists of friends, family, and sometimes random people that need a pen-pal and some friedly encouragement.

When I was in Viet Nam we got letters from Arizona. To a Marine. You can try

To A marine/solder
Apo new york
Iraq

They'll take care of the rest.

i was over in saudi last year it was real nice to get a letter from kids in school telling me how much they loved us, but most of all i loved getting candy. MRE's dont taste so good
