More to the point what will happen is that he will get a paltry sentence if found guilty, spend 2 years in prison being paid for by my taxes and then he will be released after a campaign by liberals and awarded a million pounds by the international court of human rights because someone made him shave his beard off.
He will then write a book, appear on Parkinson and still have a good old laugh every time he sees people leaping out of the world trade center to their deaths.

While Omar Khyam's opinion on the twin towers bombing may add to the circumstantial evidence of his intention to carry out bombing in the UK, it is not, so far, an offence in itself. Khyam is a British subject and I do not believe that there a process for stripping him of his citizenship and deporting him (to where?).
Assuming that he is found guilty, the UK has the cost of holding him in prison until his release when a potential terrorist will be walking our streets.
Ignoring the 'Hang 'em and Shoot em' brigade as this approach gives the authorities even more power to abuse, I can only think of one solution. The UK should negotiate an agreement with an Islamic country to take these people and make them citizens of that country. Permanent surgical marking would ensure that they were identified by customs officers if they attempted to re-enter the UK.

In the 15th century there was a large industry revelved around the Sunday afternoon hangings. Perhaps a similar process should be evolved for today, have a couple hamburger stands, an ice cream van, and charge £2 per person for enterance to see a victory for the war on terror. Or perhaps we should just lock him away with the rest of the terrorist skum and let them starve until they eventually have to feed off each other.

Prosecution would have incriminating evidence to put him away. Can't sentence anyone just because they're happy over 9/11 - heck there's thousands of happy 9/11 silent supporters over here in the Far East.

You have to get into the mindset of the individual. In the same way that we thought in WW2 that bombing of hundreds of Germans or even Japanese people was a victory and we (as a country) were happy about it. The west is an enemy to many so any successful attack would be considered a victory.

All of your answerer's so far have given a negative answer saying what nasty things should be done to the suicide bomber. They all seem to have the same mentality as Bush and Blair. Why is everyone so stupid?
The intelligent thing to do is to study, interrogate, chat to, analyse and try to understand precisely why people do this kind of thing, then, and only then will we be in a position to actually do something about it.

I would wait till he is found guilty before I would do anything.... Just cause he said he was happy when 9/11 happened doesn't mean anything, we are all entitled to our own opinions no matter how right or wrong, and I personally would defend his right to have an opinion!

It all boils down to RELIGION again! The root of all evil.Leave him to the inmates, send him back home.Better still bring back national service! then he'd bugger off on his own, along with a lot more of his kind, and we would n't have to find the fares. In fact we could seize thier assets, how about that Blair/Brown, and make some money!

Something equally as bad as he was going to do to us... but we all know that he will get a prison sentence in some plush hotel-type place and then he will claim that we have infringed his human rights and will be released upon appeal to europe on some technicality.......
