If a nuke was launched from a country far away from us *points over there*. The news stations quickly picked up on it and aired it. It was found out to be headed to the U.S. If the location that was to be impacted was at your door step and there was only 5 minutes until it'd impact and you're watching the missile live on live TV in space. If you're thinking about NORAD, let's just add some fun to it by some mishap, the U.S. Missile Defense was under major matinence so no missile defenses was online.
What would your last 5 minutes be if you knew a 50 mega ton or so nuclear missile was aimed at your town. What would be your thoughts? Thinking about confessing? Would you believe in God? "Am I going to die quickly?"
Please explain, I'm bored, make it funny if you have too! Here's what I would do: "I'd sh!t bricks for the first minute, after I couldn't sh!t no more, I'd smoke my last joint. Yeah!

You know, I'll still try and think of survival. I have a Kawasaki ZX-12 sitting outside and I'm near a freeway. In 5 minutes, at 150 mph, I could be over 10 miles away. (At 10 miles, 50% chance of survival according to some charts) Maybe that 5 minutes might be calculated wrong - in 10 minutes 25 miles away. Yeah, I know my chances are limited, but that extra speed and ability to cut through traffic still gives me a fighting chance. And if that warhead doesn't hit -- the report was in error -- I would have had a hell of a ride, and a good excuse to really use my bikes top end for an extended period without regard to authority or safety on public roads. In any case, it would be a rush.

I tried to kill myself 2.5 years ago and I still haven't figured out whether life is worth all the trouble, so if I heard that a 50 Mega Ton missile was heading my way it wouldn't phase me one way or the other. I would probably put on my favorite music CD and cit down with a can of Pepsi and just wait for it, maybe even outside.

Since my brother-in law was in Nam he has literally been preparing for just such an occasion. Food water guns ammo etc. and an underground hideaway. It takes 8 minutes to get there at a legal rate of speed (which at that point I am not above breaking the law). I would gather the ones I love and bolt, and then I would spend the rest of my life listening to my brother-in-law say "didn't I tell ya' this was going to happen?"

If impact was going to be at my doorstep I'd load my .30-06 and go out shooting - defending my country. Its a BAR I might get all 5 off in the last 500 yards of descent.

i drive a really fast car. in five minutes I could be cruising at more than 120 mph and be plenty far out of the blast zone. Then of course, i'd just keep on going to avoid the radiation fall out.

Well, I already believe in God, so I wouldn't spend time confessing or anything. I would contact the people I know who aren't believers and try to convince them one more time. If they didn't believe still, I would move on to the next person. It's not my job to make them believe, just to tell them about Him and let them make a choice.

Well it would suck, if I was at work...which most of us are most of the time...I'd probably spend my last minutes trying to use my cell phone to call my wife...
Of course prayers would be well in order and asking for forgiveness for being such a butthead for so many years...
Then I'd probably put on my sunglasses....I now it would be stupid...but you gotta protect your eyes man!

I would do one of two things, #1: break out in little butt-holes and chit myself to death,, or #2, try to become "double-jointed" so I could kiss my butt goodbye, hahahahahaha.God Bless America, And Our Troops! 1st. Sgt., 7th Special Forces, (Ret.) Vietnam, "67"-"70"
