i tried that website, it didnt help. i attended boot camp 26 years ago

26 years ago? I'm almost 100% sure that all of your drill instructors would be retired by now. To even be one, you have to be a Sgt which is usually 4 years, and most Marines usually serve somewhere between 20-25 years. if you know their names, try whitepages.com. Other than that, you don't stand a chance of finding them on any military pages.

I attended MCRD San Diego 43 years ago. I tried finding mine and had no luck either.

I would try googling it and going to the mcrd site. And try every USMC forum you know and ask if they know them.

I've seen Marine Corps basic training yearbooks for sale online at eBay and militaria websites.

I don't know if that would help you or not.
