erudite is that you or your twin brother? In the first place two got KIA today. 6 wounded are back to work 16 more are not life threatening. If you are gonna spout your crap get it right. Loosing any of our troops is bad. Do you enjoy setting on your computer? someone paid for that freedom for you with their life. Show a little respect.

If US troops want to come home so bad why is reinlistment rates at an all time high? After Somalia the Rangers were pissed that they weren't allowed to finish their job. were winning suicide bombing is a last ditch attempt to regain control. Vietnamization is a great example Nixon went to pull US troops out of Vietnam and many stopped fighting "Search and Evade" missions is what some called it (not all and i have the utmost respect for anyone who served don't get me wrong) open up a history book already.

I have no idea if you actually want to know......or that is a smart *** question. I can say as I look at it, it is a smart *** question. So let me say this.

I am freakin tired of people talking all this crap. Why are we doing this, why are we doing that. There is no WE involved. I don't see half of these people over there watching their buddies get blown up by an IED. I don't see them getting hit by small arms. I don't see them risking life to secure the freedoms in which they want their families and every US citizen to have. What I do see, on the other hand, is people like that talking bad upon the people who gave them the freedom in the first place. Those people don't know the first thing about fighting a war. This isn't TV, we aren't paid actors. We are flesh and blood, whose bravery and selfless-service stormed the beaches of Normandy. Whose sacrifice repelled the German forces from occupied France. These Soldiers who defeated a determined Iraqi force from Kuwait. For over 230 years we have been doing this and its disgraceful to see people still talking about something they know nothing about.

They only know one thing, that what we are doing now. Bottom line here is, don't talk about something that you have no experience in. Instead of talking about 5 Soldiers who died, how about mourning and sympathizing for somebody who gave the ultimate sacrifice for you.

Two reasons:

1. It is because you are home whining about the sacrifice they have made for YOU!

Thank you for attempting to disgrace their beliefs, honor, and sacrifice.

Without brave men and women fighting for American freedom in many places in the world, others will subjugate America to some oppressive governmental style--like many other places in the world.

2. 30 American troops got blown away today and not 31 because you are home whining about the sacrifice they have made for YOU, and choose not to join them in the completely voluntary American military!

If you were next to any the them, you too would have been blown away today, and some other clueless, thankless, jacka$$ would be whining about why you died.

I have a bumper sticker that sums this up.

"If you can read this, thank a teacher."

"If you can read this in English, thank a soldier."

As a language arts teacher and USAF veteran, you are doubly welcome. .

you are an ********. you sound real sincere and caring when asking this question. your name is anti war, are you anti american, do you support the troops? probably not. you wouldn't have the balls to do something as noble and great as serving your country. 30 americans were killed by a bomber b/c it is a war, b/c they are defending the iraqi people and the american people. yes believe it or not, don't believe everything on here and in the media, the us troops are defending america. al qaida is in iraq, al qaida is our enemy and they were the masterminds behind sept 11th.

I think it is really a travesty, this situation our present administration has gotten us into. I grieve each day when I hear about the terrible injuries and needless loss of life of our young people over in that heathen land. We should never have been there in the first place. I pray that the American people will wake up before it is too late, and get these people out of office who supposedly speak for us!

this is an Op-ed contributed piece popular with the help of the NYTimes to positioned up. The NYTimes grew to become into allowed to edit the content textile and it grew to become into the NYTimes that entitled the piece. A conflict that we could basically Win, the words chosen with the help of the long island cases editors, does no longer have been the call of the writers, who admitted this on a countrywide information broadcast this night. Regardless, all of us ought to understand the validity of the significant successes in Iraq that have been stated. That Anbar province is now the main look after and good section after the Kurdish controlled area is a significant reversal. That Sharia regulation is gaining wider exposure as a blasphemous and inhumane gadget this is forcefully rejected with the help of maximum Iraqis relatively those able to resisting is exemplary for oppressed peoples interior the extra suitable center east. cf.
