They thought Iraq would be a walk in the park because of the lack of military organization in Iraq but now we see a modern day Vietnam. Will America ever learn from her past experiences?

I wonder why America hasn't attacked North Korea (could be that they are affraid of a country with the third largest military in the world or maybe because their missles can hit Alaska and the western seaboard).

If Communism is a big threat to the American way of life, why don't they wage war on the biggest communist country, CHINA? Hmmm maybe they know that is war they can't win?

My husband and I are looking to name one of our children after a war vet. We would like to know the first and middle name. We would like to be able to tell our child the story of how they got their name one day. I know this may sound strange but we feel it is a good way to honor a vet. My husband is currently on his second deployment with the national guard so we are familiar with some people and their stories. Thanks.

My faith will bring me back to life in my child's soul.

Destroy my little warm house.
I'll collect its broken blocks and build it again.

Burn my lovely farm.
I'll plant my seeds inside the black ash and harvest its crops again.

Destroy that bridge I pass on each day.
I'll fix the smashed wires together and pass on it every day again.

Blow my mosque and my church.
I have them both inside my heart.

Kill my little daughter with your illegal bombs.
I'll bury her body.
But her beautiful innocence will remain alive in every dust soaked with her blood.

My home; Lebanon; that piece of paradise, ruin it.
Our blood will bring this paradise back again.

Do whatever your barbarity necessitates.
I don't care.
Because Lebanon and I will come back again.

And by the way, my question is:
Do you think that the Israeli and the American government should share the top of the list of terrorism or does Israel come in the first place before the USA?

I have a high school diploma, 3 years of JROTC, an associates degree with 123 credits in telecom, and i lack 3 credits in a bach. in Info tech, so i have almost 200 credit hours. I was over awarded in student loans which meant that the day before my last class for a bach( a writing class) i was told that i had to pay 3000 dollars before i could take the class. i would, but it is hard to come by 3000 dollars with a new born. my question is what is the highest rank i can go in as? i had one recruiter tell me an e3 then after i learn my job (hopefully air traffic controller) i could go to osc(officer school). then i had another recruiter tell me that i can go in as an e4 and go to officer school right off the bat. which one is correct? and why would they tell me this?

It's always the old who lead us into war, it's always the young who fall. Now look at what you've won with a sabre and a gun, tell me is it worth it at all?

When the conflict between Israel and Lebanon began, I knew Israel would end up killing far more people in Lebanon than Hezbollah would in Israel.

Right now it appears that besides killing plenty of civilians and even UN workers, Israel is trying to back out of the conflict as quickly as possible because they see they aren't going to win without resorting to tactical nukes - at least, not when everything they do is watched closely by the internet/media rich world.

What do you think is the more significant diffeference in war tactics between Israel and Hezbollah?

I think that because Israel is being monitored by world opinion, they are hindered by being forced to use tactical weapons,
wherin, Hezbollah doesn't care who they hit and launches rockets blindly.

To quote Sam Kinison....
"The Arabs launch a rocket out their backyards and then run inside the house, and turn on CNN to find out where it landed !"
