We've already won the war.

The current situation has nothing to do with us.

We can leave Iraq if we want or we can stay and help the Iraqis try to form a more stable government.

Regarding running marines, I doubt if it was anything more than moving from where shells were exploding to a place where they would be more protected. You still need common sense when you are a soldier. You don't walk around like Tarzan shouting and beating your chest. You take cover when you are fired upon.

Are we going to win? We lost this war the second the Abu Ghraib atrocities were exposed. Orders from the very top to torture and murder prisoners only resulted in the incarceration of the low ranking soldiers who were forced to do the actions.
The incident radicalized the region against the US and swelled the ranks of the insurgents.

I noticed you did not give a link to this report. By any chance would the reason be that 'abject fear' is not an accurate description. Running from a bomb/missile is not 'fear'.

If running was what they had to do under the circumstances then so be it. They are there fighting for this country. Willing to give up their lives for people like you! They will be right back out there fighting the next day. You find it so funny - what would you have done?

"LOL"??? Dude, quit making us liberals look bad. These troops are just kids who are being manipulated into thinking that America is always right because they'll be court-martialed for treason if they disagree. I feel sorry for the troops, especially when this s**t happens to them and their families. It only makes me angrier at Bush and his oil buddies who don't care about human life when money is involved.

And Michael, sorry to get your Confederate flag in a knot but Jesus was not a Republican and NASCAR sucks.

you are a sad little b****, and roninscribe80, like all liberals all you have to do is open your mouths to show how stupid you are. georgie and his 'oil buddies' are not what this 'war' is about. the sooner you people open your eyes the better. you people need to sit down and read some history and see why 'the land of the free' is what it is. god pity on your ignorant souls

You need to know when to stay and run. America doesn't breed kamakazi soldiers. I would rather they love for their lives if they don't have a chance. Then die for Iraqs cause.
