if you want to join, then join... and i think that you are trying to help the world is great, but not because you feel guilty... it shouldn't be because you want to save yourself from being sad... it should be because you want to save the world from being sad

Well, if you really really want to join then you should follow your instincts. However, if you are still doubtful, then there are plenty of ways to help those people in pain. Thousands of companies are offering help and you can pitch in too. Joining the army isn't the only way. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing but your risking your life, and with all the thing that is happening now, another life lost would just increase the sorrowfulness.

Seeking to serve your country and do your civic duty is never a bad thing. If you want to help others the military is one option, however there are also several others. A number of relief organizations are open for oportunity as well. I would suggestion you research all your options including the military, peace corp, the red cross and possibly any mission work open to you through a church you might attend.

I think that you should talk with your parents first and get their input before you make a decision. It would also be a VERY GOOD THING TO PRAY and ask GOD for his guidance in the matter. There are other ways you could be of service to our country as a whole. You could look into becoming a missionary or doing volunteer work for your local shelters or hospitals. Any thing that you feel led by the LORD to do can't be wrong.

I have a cousin who just did the same thing for the same reason. She's going through basic training now. There are a lot of other things you can do, like go into public service or volunteer for a non-profit organization that specifically helps people over there. Whatever you do, look into it first. You don't want to be surprised once you start.

Once you reach the age of 17 then the military is an option for you. It is great to have people that are not afraid to serve our country. Drive on and be proud at what ever you do and what ever branch you decide to join.

Wait until you are old enough to join. Then decided if you want to join the military. Just remember, you cannot trust a recruiter. They don't get paid unless they get you in BDUs with none of the Freedom you're fighting for.

If you want to make the Armed Forces a career and part of your life it is a honorable thing to do. I praise my students all the time for making the decision to join.

NO. at first, you won't in any respect kill absolutely everyone on your military profession. you mustn't concentration on the "killing" area. you're only there to do your interest and regrettably killing can from time to time be an element of that. homicide isn't like the killing that is going on throughout the time of wartime. My factor is which you mustn't tie the two innovations at the same time. i assume we will see if there are murderers in Heaven.

my son enlisted in the army shortly after his 17th birthday. he is currently serving in the middle east. it's very scary but it's not a bad thing. do whatever you feel you must and don't let anybody else make that decision for you. however, if you're under 18, your parents will have to sign for you to legally be able to enlist.
